Vast and Beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor provides outstanding resolution and colour however, you need to make sure your computer has sufficient graphics power to drive it. My home computer, a Mac Studio makes full use of the monitor but my Dell work laptop can't support the full resolution. If your machine is up to the task then this is a beast of a display and worth every penny.

LG 45" Curved Monitor DP2.1
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor about a month ago. I had been waiting for months for it to be available but as soon as stock came into the UK, the guys at LG (namely Moose) were very helpful answering any questions I had about this product. I'm so pleased with this monitor, it's performance, colours and refresh rate and the size but I have very quickly got used to the size and there is no way that I can go back to smaller. I totally recommend this monitor.

You need at least 16gb video memory to drive so many pixels, but its worth it. Exellent choice for most immersive gaming experience.

Amazing
After reading many reviews , I pulled the trigger and bought this. I upgraded from a Aw3423dwf and this monitor is leagues above it. The shear size , the 800 curve and hdr is next level. I highly recommend this. This was the last item to finish my halo PC build.

I like the large screen and hidef image. My first curved screen and there has been no issue with the curve. I don't like how difficult it is to attach my cables to the rear of the monitor.

Great fir productivity
I am not that much of a gamer, but like to run high resolution with no scaling for maximum desktop area. I always break my monitors up into area using Microsoft fancy zones so I gave specific windows for email, browser, teams, etc. I have typically used a 32” 4k monitor and took this home to try it. I was concerned about the aggressive curve and thought I would wait for the 990a. Once I used it, I loved the curve. At high resolution the aggressive curve is needed to keep things close and i loved the oled blacks and refresh as well. I play some flight simulator, etc. but for me there is no concern at all for the aggressive curve. After using this, I knew if I had a 990a, I would always keep it at most aggressive curve and it only goes down to 900R and I would want the 800R(smaller is more aggressive) the 950a has. Plus, nice getting speakers in the 950 as 990 is not supposed to have them. I really wish it had a kvm built in and would not have bought it, but remembered that my Logitech keyboard and mouse have that built in so I just bought extra dongle for my work laptop, and Mac so I could easily connect 3 computers without cable madness or nerdy external kvm. I am an older professional and just love this monitor, and I liked the matte finish better because I have a window in my office and do not care for the dungeon scene with no windows to lower glare, etc. games and work all look great. No fishbowl effect for me whatsoever and I am in my 50s and have serious job working on it 8 hours a day for past 3 months

My first widescreen display
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the display, especially because I use it for work — spreadsheets in Excel, web browsers for various web UI tools, and messengers (Slack, Teams). With 45", I can flexibly choose what I want to have on the screen, and it’s very convenient. The overall image quality is excellent, and the color reproduction is truly impressive — it makes both work and entertainment a pleasure. For gaming, it’s smooth and enjoyable. The HDR could be brighter, and the display takes a little time to wake up from sleep mode, but these are minor points compared to the overall experience. Overall, I really enjoy working and playing on this display. It’s a great choice for anyone who needs more screen space for productivity while also wanting an immersive experience for games.

Top notch quality!

Text is very sharp which is great as i do 50/50 Productivity and Gaming. Colours are also very vibrant and the extra real-estate from the high resolution is great! I adjusted to the curve quickly and now i definitely Recommend!

Very loud and clear sound performance. The connectivity options are great,you can connect anything to it. The design is absolutely beautiful,i love the curl,the size, and i absolutely love the hexagon led light on the back. It's very easy to set everything up on it, and also, the setup was very simple and quick. Came with lots of cables,so you are able to connect everything to your monitor very quickly. I love it!

It's bigger than you think.
Extremely good image quality and excellent colours. Good QOL features to prevent image burn in. Everytime you switch the panel off, it will do a 10 minute pixel clean as well as move the image a few pixels right or left during usage to further prevent burn in (this isnt noticeable). 165hz refresh rate is more than enough considering its 5120x2160 so you're going to need a beefy GPU to run your games at max settings. The curve can and will throw some people off. 800R is a very aggressive curvature which is further exasperated by the fact that this is a 45 inch screen. This is my first 800R and as soon as it was out of the box, I was very much against the 800R curve. Took me about 2 weeks to slowly get used to it. The sheer size of the monitor is what I realised I am not a big fan of at all. People don't actually realise how big it is and even on a decently sized table, this thing is right in your face. You will 100% be moving your head up and down to adjust with how big it is if you have a small table. If you are seriously considering buying this monitor, I strongly suggest investing in a deep table of more than 110cm-120cm otherwise it's going to be right in your face which will make you feel sick physically and mentally constantly moving your head and eyes. TL;DR - Pro - Excellent monitor for gaming, amazing image quality and great refresh rate for its resolution. Con - It's so much bigger than you think it is which can be extremely uncomfortable for some people if they have a small office and/or small desk. 800R feels very aggressive since its a 45 inch and can be a dealbreaker for some people if they are not used to such a strong curve.

Game changer

Awesome colour and deep black, has very high screen refresh 330 hz,NVIDIA certified. Not many computer work at this resolution which is w shame( not yet). Is a great monitor for playing games but is high energy consuming.

Great picture quality
I have ordered this monitor for my monster PC buil and it just a perfect. The picture is quite clear, the size of the screen is large, a little unusual after the previous 22 inches, you want to squeeze further, but the picture is simply stunning. Also liked deep black and matte. I will actively use gaming.
