Liberty School Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine - 750ml Bottle

We were in tasting and really enjoyed this so we bought 2 bottles for our daughters who also really enjoyed it.

I bought this for the 2nd time last month, the first time was in 2024. This is such a good affordable gifting wine as well. Me and my wife enjoy having this on our own but when we have to gift or take a bottle of wine to someones house (specifically when visiting someone we like ;-), this is the wine we take. Giving it 4 stars rather than 5 since the others from Hope wineries are amazing as well and I reserve the 5 star for the cabernet.

Tha Absolute best Cab in its price range. Buy it by the case, you will not regret it.

My wife and I first experienced this wine in the late 1980,s when our friend shared it with us in Jumers Castle at a dinner celebrating great event in our Corporate history . We have bought it by the case ever since when it was available. We were happy to see it available again in Wyoming. Goes great with Wyoming beef and Buffalo!

Well this is a perfect first experience and something you can try multiple times to decide if you want to venture out to try other reds!

It’s not super high end or full bodied, but it does deliver a pleasant profile that doesn’t leave an unwanted aftertaste as some wines may do. It is smooth, slightly sweet, not too acidic. It has a great price point for such a well balanced wine. It smells like vanilla with a touch of herbs, the aroma is my favorite part.

Very approachable, smooth tannins, fruit forward black currant and cherry without being sweet or boring. I’m impressed by how well-balanced this wine is. I love to cook and it’s not easy to find a cab that is this food friendly… flexible to not only enjoy with Steak, but equally enjoyable with Turkey, Chicken, Ham, Appetizers, Vegetarian. This one’s a winner!

It’s not overly dry and astringent like some, and pretty well-balanced. Great with food, we had it with some grilled meat and rice, and it was the perfect accompaniment .

It’s a wine you could drink everyday, but not a wine you’d want to drink everyday. At the price it’s a safe bet and I could see some people rating it higher depending on personal taste, but for me it’s not something I’ll pick up often.
