Just what I was looking for but be careful on airplanes

We used the bottles for our trip to Patagonia because we were not sure how safe the water was to drink. The bottle worked great. Never had a problem filling and drinking from the bottle through the filters. However, be careful on airplanes. I had read something saying to loosen the lid if you are flying because the air pressure will push water up through the straw and cause it to leak through the top. Well, I loosened the very top and water just kept pouring out through the straw. So for the next flight I loosened the cap where you refill the bottle and left the top lid in place. That fixed the issue. Hope this review helps someone else. Other than this issue (which will not recur in the future because I am smarter now!), I love my bottle. Great purchase!
A must have!!

Keeps my water cold, and tastes so clean and pure. We switched from bottled spring water and LifeStraw is so much better. Worth the investment. No more worrying about microplastics!
Lifestraw fan - big regrets with GO bottle

I love our lifestraw water pitcher, and have bought others for my family members. As others have said, I loved the idea of this water bottle. And that the purchase supports clean drinking water initiatives. However, even with priming, etc,, doing all the troubleshooting suggested, it still requires me to have to suck hard to get a sip. Can’t return because it’s used. Expensive. If this issue won’t bother you, fine! If so, think twice. . I really, really regret this purchase.
Neon Pink

I really enjoy the quality of water from this bottle and use it daily! It takes a moment to adjust to drinking from this bottle. I appreciate that the bottle and spout are the same color. The hot pink color clashes with my decor, but other colors such as baby pink, apricot, robin’s egg blue, toffee, butter yellow, and papaya would be a hit. The pink is nearly neon and it stands out oddly in my space. The bottle holds some water that can’t be reached by the filter, so a portion of the water in the bottle can’t be filtered.

I find myself drinking more water. At first I was annoyed about the “blow back” in the straw to prevent the overspill, but it’s not a big deal now. I would definitely recommend this product.

The water tastes great! I carry it everywhere with me now. It’s easier to drink out of than the straw.
Not easy to drink

I like the bottle, but it is a little difficult to drink water if I don’t lift the bottle up. There is always lot of babble with the water. I’m not sure why.

I bought these to use in case of some catastrophic event (god forbid) and have them for our emergency kits. I have not used them yet but like the idea that they have built in filters.

While I love the concept, the straw is very hard to draw water from. The vessel is heavy so not sure how it will be to travel with. I can only give it 3 stars

I bought this for my son to use at school. He says it is too hard to get the water out. I will use it instead when I go on trips. It is a nice looking bottle and a good size.

I use tap water and my water taste great. Best part, it stays cold. I have a plastic bottle version that works great and I could see dirt at the bottom, but nothing like cool water.

I really want to give five stars but I have to suck so hard on my new bottle to get any water out! Did I do something wrong wrong or are my 76 year old sucking skills not as strong as they should be. I bought two with replacement filters and I’m hoping I didn’t make a mistake.

bad internal straw

internal straw has a defect that draws in air prior to bottle being empty. i. e. 3/4 full still and when you suck it acts like my other bottle when its empty.

This is a quality product. I love how I can put tap water in here and it always tastes great! My only complaint is that it's not entirely easy to get the water through the filter. (Although it's a necessary issue), it takes some getting used to. I'd recommend the Go Series to anyone.

The bottle is nice, color is nice. The cleaning will take some getting use to because there are extra parts. It's a little awkward to drink at first and don't fill the bottle up, water will overflow when you close the lid because of the filter.

Just what we were after. We bought the life straw go series for our last big trip away and used it everywhere. It was great knowing you could drink any water. However, we wanted a thinner bottle as the big 1 l doesn’t fit in our backpack side pockets. Also we wanted one that kept water cool too.

Love this bottle! I purchased for a trip to Costa Rica but am using it daily anyway. The feel is comfortable and I’m shocked it fits in my car cup holder. I will be buying a few more for Christmas gifts for family.
