Big fan of LifeStraw products, and have several of many for a variety of uses, including all emergency kits, car emergency bags, our home refrigerator, etc. , the sip might be the best yet. Love the design, function and ease to travel with it. Just gave one to my nephew for a trip to India. I just bought six as gifts. Don't have anyone in particular in mind, just wanted to put them in my "gift closet" for future presents.

Firstly, thank you for earnestly caring about my experience. I feel invested in your small company because I personally know the favorable impact your products make. I hesitated responding since they have not seen, or likely to see use anytime soon, more a matter of backup, or emergency use? The 3 pack Sip was an impulse buy on sale. When I see them 2nd thoughts arise~ doubting a sound purchase for our lifestyle. I wonder about their care being a hassle, drying out between infrequent use. Will the filter require eventual replacement? I can’t seem to find that answer. Certainly knowing each LifeStraw purchase helps others through the world, in desperate need, have potable water is a connection that is an extremely meaningful connection. Thankfully few of us know that dire scarcity, or the stressors that burden imposes. With environmental concerns left largely ignored, or worse stripped away, that potential reality makes LifeStraw an important choice to have in use, or on hand in any instance! The 10 cup LifeStraw pitcher has provided peace of mind and been an ideal household fit. We take containers of its filtered water with us when on the move. Not dining out, the Sip is not likely to go into a glass of water under those circumstances but would lend great confidence for sure. The Sips are larger than anticipated~ in the case and out. One is in a large handbag and takes up every bit of its width on the bottom. Upright, in the same generous bag, it stands too tall to close properly. Unfortunately, the cap is an absolute dust magnet that looks and feels yucky on contact each time~ and, I keep a tidy bag. Many smaller bags will not accommodate the Sip even on the diagonal. One of them is destined to my besties and we will feel better about the other two, one at the ready in the car. For future design please consider making the cap’s inside of silicone and exterior with the same rigid plastic the rest of the container is made of. The cap will stay snugly in place and be smooth to the touch. A threaded screw cap is a thought as well offering intentional opening and secure keeping. The carrying case could be triangular to cut down on its girth yet still preventing rolling away as your square one achieves? I look forward to anything you share about Sips filter life, and thoughts about eventual cap redesign/replacement. Thanks to your quality products and my crowing about them, a dear, “chosen brother” dedicated to caring for our, in constant need, essential, 1st responders~ namely: firefighters (that are tragically, avoidably and unwisely back-burnered at their and therefore our own dreadful expense) have been met in countless critical situations with several of your filtering devices~ they “Community” and otherwise. Several friends now drink safe, deliciously, completely tasteless (as we all desire) refreshing, easy on the palate water too. This is evermore important when our government is dropping the removal of lead and other known harmful contaminants from our public water supplies. Living in a contaminated world demands whatever we can cobble together to ensure our well being. As individuals we are grateful to protect our health with LifeStraw.

I purchased these as a gift for my brother who's an avid naturalist, frequently finding himself needing a drink in the wild. These straws are easy to pack and keep with him, just in case. I'm giving these to him for Father's Day, so he hasn't tried them yet. . . I know he'll love having them, though.

I love my Life Straw. It fits in my purse nicely and I use it every time I go out to eat. I also use it to filter MAC from my faucet drinking water. It’s literally a Life Saver Straw for me.

I have no idea whether this product works or doesn’t as I haven’t tried it and likely won’t until I have the opportunity which, I actually hope won’t be for a long time, if ever. I bought 2 products as a proactive defense against the possibility the streams that surround me might need purification before their water became potable. It’s mere hope. And a fair amount of trust.

I am not a fan of this straw after a week of use. It is still so hard to pull a drink of water through that I get headaches from using it, so it’s going into a thrift store bag. Would not buy again and would discourage others from spending this absurd chunk of change on a straw you can’t drink through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is nice, easy to open. Looks durable. I’ve used my straw a handful of times. I don’t know if I love it, the concept is cool but I don’t see myself carrying a straw with me at all times. Because of practicality I am not a fan. However, I think is a cool innovative product and maybe a great product for those who travel to areas where water quality is not the best. I can totally see a camper or someone traveling around the world using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple and very easy to use. I have used the previous bulkier versions of these (never had to use it out of necessity, just for fun as a test before I brought it along on a long hike). This is way smaller. I wish I could test the efficacy vs other bigger models but alas I am but a simple man.
