    Disappointed: Dozens of Missing Structural Parts and Hardware

    I bought this shed trusting the Costco name and reputation, but the quality control on the packaging was completely unacceptable. Halfway through assembly, we had to stop entirely because of a massive amount of missing parts and hardware. Here is the exact list of what was completely omitted from our boxes: * **Major Structural Pieces:** The package was missing **10 roof support bars**. You cannot safely build or support the roof without these. * **Roof Frames:** Across the 4 roof frames, we were missing a total of **10 screws**. * **Wall & Roof Junctions:** Missing **5 screws** needed to secure the roof to the walls. * **Skylights:** Missing **5 screws and washers**. * **Door Header Assembly:** Missing **4 screws** for the horizontal bar on top of the door, and another **2 screws** for the ventilation screen right above the door. * **Window Assembly:** The window was missing **2 brackets and screws**. It is incredibly frustrating to pay this much money and clear out a weekend for assembly, only to be shorted dozens of essential screws, brackets, and massive structural bars. If you buy this, open every single bag and count every single screw before you begin, because the factory quality control is severely lacking.

    Lives up to the brand name

    My father built one of these back around 2007 to store his riding lawn mower, needing somewhere to park it in our garden. It was easy enough for him to build by himself and lived up to its name as in 2026 its still holding together quite nicely. there are of course some small things that have worn out since then such as the roof panels sagging with age, and a few screw mounts have ripped out of the wall; but regardless its been such a solid shed that i felt inclined to leave this review so that others can get a sense of the actual quality long-term. Unfortunately my dad passed away not too long after building this, but I'm sure he knew it would still be standing today (he was the guy who researched everything he bought for weeks before making any purchases). anyways long story short this has been a great investment in our yards usefulness and appearance.

    Nice Looking Shed, Professional Assembly OK

    We haven't put any of our stuff in it yet. Looks nice, except for the door alignment. I can't get the left door to open as the securing mechanisms are stuck. We couldn't be here when the professional assembler finished the job or I would have definitely pointed that out to him. We paid a lot for this service, so I'm not too happy that I have to go back and tweak or fix a few things, if I am even able to do so. It's raining today, but if I can get the door alignment straightened out and the inner door mechanisms to work in the near future, I will submit a revised review.

    Assembly Review

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are pleased with the product. The shed was finally assembled during the holidays. There were some issues with the assembly. There was a shortage of the screws used to mount the trusses (DTK). YouTube videos for the assembly of this shed followed a different order of instructions than what the printed instructions provided. It would be nice if more of the hooks were provided to hang gardening tools. I recommend that silicone caulking be used to cover gaps that may exist to prevent moisture/water seepage (photos). Added straps to secure shed to hooks inserted in a concrete slab below shed for storm season in FL (photos).

    Great outdoor shed for my lawn mowers and other things

    I bought this shed to free up room inside my shop. After measuring the items I wanted to move into a shed we decided on the 8x12.5 shed. I pre assembled the parts I could the day before in my shop then my wife and I assembled the shed the next day. Took us about 3 hrs to complete.

    Inexpensive Outdoor Storage

    Great value

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently assembled the Lifetime Resin Outdoor 8’ x 12.5’ Storage Shed and have only had it up for a couple of days, so I can’t yet comment on its long term durability or performance in different weather conditions. However, first impressions are excellent. For the price, it’s a great value the materials feel solid, the overall appearance is clean and attractive, and it offers a generous amount of storage space. Assembly was fairly straightforward with detailed instructions and well fitting parts. While time will tell how it withstands the elements, so far I’m very pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality shed at a reasonable cost.
