Q: What is the overall depth? Description has 20.79" while Specifications has 19.5 Inches (D). I don't have a lot of space so 1.29 inches is a big difference.

We got the oak color & love them! Very sturdy, easy to put together, and so pretty! Looked all over for a style like this and was so happy to find it here. Only issue we had was that our child's booster seat scratched it up a bit, and we weren't able to find any way to fix the damage. (The finish is such that the wood color paint/marker/pen things that you can buy dont stick, they just wipe right off). But, we'll just be buying another eventually, b/c we love them so much!

These are a great buy. • simple minimalist style • heavier in weight, sturdy with wide seat • front legs are adjustable on bottom, preventing uneven wobbly legs • Easy to put together. 8 screws and a hex wrench. Additional note- They come in two pieces. 1. Legs of stool 2. Seat/back of stool. There is only one direction that these two pieces can be screwed together. So if holes aren’t lining up, chances are you don’t have it the correct way.

I'd give these chairs a higher rating if they weren't so incredibly heavy! For the price, they aren't a great value. Because the seat is so thick and the chair is so heavy, they look and feel cheap. Disappointingly, Target no longer makes the chair I actually wanted and I settled for this. I wish I hadn't. I've already thrown out the boxes so I can't return them. I regret this purchase.

Nice wide seat, stylish but also blends in with the space. We purchased 3 black stools, and there were no defects or unpainted spindles. I was debating between these and the home and hearth ones. I have 3 teenage boys and liked that these had more substantial foot rests than others with comparable styles. I’m really happy with this purchase and every other studio megee purchase I have made. I just wish I could have found these on sale :)

I ordered 3 chairs. the first two were a cinch to put together. each chair comes in 2 parts: the seat and the legs. it just takes 8 bolts and an Allen wrench (included) and less than 10 mins each. however, the third chair was a different story. the pre-drilled holes were not aligned so I am not able to build the chair properly. such a hassle to return it in it's huge box. just be aware that this kind of thing happens.

We’ve had these for a year and a half. Our family sits in them multiple times each day- that being said there are pros and cons. Pros- nice looking and don’t tip easily. Cons- the screws in the legs and also in the seat (where the seat connects to the legs) fall out very regularly. The backs on one of our stools is also loosening which is a major concern. For the price I was expecting them to hold up better. I don’t think we should have to fix them weekly, the screws should all be staying in. I wouldn’t purchase again.
