The packaging is adorable with its pastel blue and red colors, giving a super festive Christmas feel even before you open it. The aroma is just what you’d expect from cozy hot cocoa vibes. The intensity is soft and gentle. The texture is melty, silky and dissolves almost instantly when you bite into it. And the flavor is on the sweeter side because it’s milk chocolate, but it’s not overwhelming. It’s one of those chocolates that feels like a tiny moment of holiday joy!

A great holiday treat that I warms the soul with memories of snowy days and cozy times with the family. My son loves this flavor and wants more! I enjoyed my candy with a hot coffee which was so indulgent but at the same time à reasonable amount of calories for a sweet treat of this caliber! I highly recommend this addiction to the holiday treat table but also as a simple day to luxury for adults and children!

Tastes like a SNOW DAY!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chocolate tastes like a childhood snow day-the ones where you’d play in the snow for hours and come in to a piping hot cup of hot cocoa with extra marshmallows! The chocolate is smooth and creamy, while the marshmallow insides melt right in your mouth. I put them in the freezer so they last a little longer! So, so tasty!

Upon receipt, I ripped open the bag like a true chocoholic would and sank my teeth into one of these truffles. The packaging was typical for Lindt so no surprise there. And the flavor? DELICIOUS. It was a milk chocolate outer shell with a white chocolate inner ganache. The combo (to me) was to die for. I don't know if it truly tasted like hot cocoa BUT i still loved it anyway and would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am already a fan of the Lindt chocolates (a super fan of the white chocolate ones) and this new Cocoa flavor does not disappoint. You get the snap of the shell along with the super smooth filling, which is a joy to nibble on. The flavor is 100% hot cocoa, that creamy, milky base with sweet milk chocolate base that typically comes in a mug. I tried tasting the white cream and chocolate shell separately and the flavor is pretty much identical. I feel like it would be a bit more dynamic if you got a distinct flavor variation of marshmallow cream to go with your “hot cocoa” shell, but that doesn’t come through. Either way - my family will certainly eat the whole bag. Yum.

My husband and I look forward to trying the limited edition holiday flavors every year. The new hot cocoa flavor is so good but I found it to be super sweet personally! It’s a milk chocolate shell with a marshmallow flavored center. It really does remind me of hot cocoa. I bet it would be yummy melted into a hot chocolate or a coffee! These would make a wonderful holiday gift for kids and adults alike. Will be purchasing more this holiday season!
