Maybe we got a defective one?
My kid loves this thing but late one night, it started playing a tune at random intervals, completely unprompted. It wasn’t any of the songs; I think it was the “try me” jingle. I couldn’t figure out how to get it to stop. Not the kind of creepy thing I want to hear at the dead of night when none of us were anywhere near the thing!

Gave this book to my 21 month old son today for Valentine’s Day. He loved it! …Was carrying it around all morning. The songs are cute and it has all of his favorite characters. It’s fun to read/sing along with the character’s music. Nice that it has a stop button too. Can’t go wrong with a cute Sesame Street book!

So it is my fault that I didn't read the description, but I didn't realize this just plays music and the book is only song lyrics. I was thinking the sound buttons would have the actual songs not just the music. Again, my fault for not reading the description but figured I would write a review incase someone else doesn't read descriptions on books before ordering online :)

I have to stress this item is music only. I expected the songs to be sung by the characters as well and the description doesn’t imply that it’s music only. So if you’re looking for a book that sings when the buttons are pushed this is not it. The book is still a fun thing for us and he likes to push the buttons for the music so the product itself has no issues.
