Little Tikes Kids' VIRO 36.8'' Step Over Electric Mini Bike

I was a little nervous about my 8 year old riding this bike, however you’re able to set the speed cap for safer slower speeds for younger kids. It is super fun for him and I feel he’s safe on it with a helmet. Assembly was easy for my husband to handle on his own. Charges easily and quickly. My son loves it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bike for kids!!! It was easy to set up and charge. It’s sturdy and operates at safe speeds so it’s not too scary to ride. The lights and features made my son feel like it was a real motorcycle. The whole family had an opportunity to ride it and we love it! The only negative is that there aren’t any other color options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my sons Christmas gift (He’s 12) and I was weary that it wouldn’t be “big boy” enough for him as some of the electric ride ons we’ve tried in the past but he has had a blast on it all day! Putting it together was pretty simple and quick. I do recommend 2 people just for holding the front wheel while it’s attached to the rest of the bike and also make sure you route the cables through the handlebar hole that holds the light before you secure those two people. It seems like very good quality on all the parts and isn’t like your run of the mill plasticy electric ride on toy and the seat is SUPER comfy. Anyways…. The bike itself I don’t feel necessarily goes the speed that is stated but it goes close enough (within 2/3mph)and is perfect for my son who is not fully used to a really quick bike. He immediately hopped on it and took off and got used to the throttle movement quickly. There is a small screen by the handlebars that show your speed in MPH along with remaining battery life which is pretty accurate. He rode on it saveral times today and didn’t need to charge it until tonight. The charger is super small and simple which we like. It also comes with working break lights which he really liked. The only negative I have is we have a medium sized hill by our house that he has to zig zag up in order to make it up. My son is very happy with his gift and I think the bike is definitely work it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun little electric bike that I think my family will enjoy for a long time. Unboxing and setup took about 30 minutes and was pretty easy. One thing the instructions didn't mention is that you have to feed the whole handlebar and light assembly through the forks because the cables aren't long enough to allow the bike to turn if you route the cables outside the forks. Ended up having to assemble and disassemble the forks a couple of times to get it setup correctly, but not all that bad of an issue. We let it charge up overnight and started having fun the next morning. There is a governor switch with 3 speed settings for different age ranges (10, 12 or 15mph) with a 7+ mile rage. There is a cool digital gauge that shows charge level and speed and a nice front and rear light setup. Overall this is a really neat and easy-to-use bike with little to no maintenance.

The assembly was ok, only couples of screws to attach the front wheel; my husband did it by himself, but it would have been much easier with somebody else as the notice advises. If the wiring was couple of inches longer it would make the assembly even easier. The bike is quite heavy which makes it stable. Tires are really large which associated to front and rear shocks, allows bumps for kids who would feel like riding on bumpy surfaces. When you ride it, it feels light and it is extremely comfortable. It does not accelerate too fast which is safer for the kids, also there is an hidden speed limiter that does not change acceleration but only top speed which is nice to keep them even safer. There is no noise/sound at all as it is electric!! Light in front and back are really powerful and rear is flashing when you break. My 12 years old really loved this bike and had a great experience with it. My 15 enjoyed it too but with her size it goes much slower when you go up hill. It didn’t suit our 7 years old girl to ride it as it was a bit too large between her legs and hard to control for as she does not touch the floor. The manufacturer advises it for 8 years old and I am pretty sure she will be more mature and ready next year. Bike came with charged battery, tires pressure was excellent, was just ready to ride 30min after taking it out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a huge hit with the kids! And if I must admit my husband and I have even gotten on it. Set up wasn't too hard. Charging is fast and easy. I love that you can set the speed if the younger kids want to ride it. It even has working lights on it!

It is very comfortable to sit on, and is designed exactly like a motorcycle! My niece loves the speed of it and how easy it is to ride around. She says it is like a cooler version a bike. This has given my family so much happiness and fun! Definitely recommend!

Doesn’t have quite the same speed with my beefy weightlifting 17 year old, but still a good time. Assembly is a little awkward and definitely requires 2 people. Fun ride around the neighborhood for kids and adults!
