Love this book & great aesthetic decor.

If you’re into eclectic modernism with a dash of pretentiousness, then this is the book for you. The book covers a series of families and their homes - all which seem to be devoid of warmth and actual relatability. Some homes are very minimalist (which is fine) but so much to the point where you’re not sure if you’re looking at a home or some sort of modern museum…? A few others just seem so random and unbelievably cluttered, so much that I had to anxiously skip through that part because it was just too much. Needless to say this will not be joining my collection. I’m not sure how this book has so many positive reviews… but to each their own. Before ordering online, I recommend viewing it at your local library or bookstore so that you’re not as disappointed as I was. Or maybe you’ll love it! Who knows. It definitely looks pretty as a coffee table book but I can’t justify keeping it just for that. I can draw absolutely no inspiration from it but perhaps someone else will.

Beautiful book aesthetically pleasing to decorate as well

Such a beautiful, neutral coffee table book! It went perfect with the other neutral books I currently have on display. I love to flip through the pages for further inspiration in my home. Sometimes looking online for photos gets boring, and it’s nice to look at pictures in books.

Great resource for design as well as a beautiful coffee table book.

Loved the book but the corners were folded inward. Only reason why I gave it 3 stars. I wanted it for decor I wish I could purchase in-store to pick the one I prefer.

Beautiful book with varied styles of interiors by many designers. I can appreciate and learn from the many styles in this book, but as a whole these design styles are more like high-end fashion; a lot of runway fashion would be too expensive, impractical, and a little too wild even, for every day use and that’s how I view most of the homes pictured in this book. I like the format, however, of a little backstory on a designer and then photos of their home with shorter bouts of tips/useful advice.

It is beautiful! Also, it arrived quickly and was packaged well.
