I bought this purifier after lot’s of research and it seems like a good buy. The light stays yellow most of the time so I can’t tell if it is doing anything. A little more time and I will come back to edit my review.

I have mild allergy symptoms. I have noticed my eyes feel better and rhinitis is better also. We purchased 2 of the 45i size and set them on automatic.

We really love our Alen air purifier. It’s done a terrific job and cleaning our air from odors, cooking smoke and any other airway irritant. I have a reactive airway and I am so happy with the purifier that we bought a second. I have recommended this to all of my office mates.

We purchased this purifier as a temporary solution to my husbands’ mold illness. It has significantly reduced his symptoms and has made life manageable again.

I researched a lot of purifiers and read hundred of reviews. The Alen brand kept coming up on the top of the lists. But which one? We had about 800 square feet of essentially open space on the first floor where we wanted to keep the air clean. We chose the 45i since it was the newer model and was matched to our space perfectly. The two negatives, brought up in the reviews and ratings, is the noise on high speed but we leave it on Auto and rarely does it ever go to high speed. The second is the cost of the filter. It's too early to tell yet (we bought it in May 2021) but our expectation is that the filter will last one year so the cost spread over one year is not too bad. Performance-wise it is keeping the air clean and, even when we have a odor from cooking it dissipates quickly as the fan speed automatically increases and takes care of it.
