A: I have two windows in my bedroom, different sizes. I purchased two brackets. I purchased curtains (same style for both windows). Each bracket has a curtain at each end. The smaller window didn't require a center bracket. The wider window required the center bracket but it doesn't hinder the curtains from closing nicely. Very good looking brackets, worth the purchase.

A: I would not advise it. It's strong enough, but I'm not sure it would give you enough clearance between the ceiling and the rod.

A: Yes, you do need to unscrew the rod to take the curtains on and off. I only unscrew one side to slide the curtains on. I don't find it to be a hassle, it's worth it to have the curtain to wrap around the sides. I changed all the curtain rods in my house to this style.

Have purchased five of these in the longer size for all my windows, plus a replacement item, and only *one* was without defects. Two have been usable, and I picked them up from a local Target myself. I purchased them in the shorter length about five years ago, and had no issues with them then. Look elsewhere unless you're not in a hurry to install your curtains. Very poor build with rare exceptions.

The best!
The curved edges offer total privacy, not just light blocking and less draftiness in winter. We used a drill to install and these are super sturdy compared to typical rods with holders that loosen. I saw reviews saying it broke and wasn’t secure but it’s screw together instead of fitting inside itself like normal rods and with several screws on each side and an optional middle support, i’m not sure how it could be unsturdy unless it was installed incorrectly. I definitely recommend these rods for long-term use with any type of curtain!
