Mech-Dome keys are full height, deliver a full 4mm travel distance, 50g actuation force, and a quiet sound operation. So these should be pretty quiet, unless you're looking for keys that make the "click" sound. If so, we have keyboards like the G513 GX Clicky and G815 GL Clicky options! Hope that helps.

I didn’t like the keys spacing, it feels like the space between the keys are too much or not enough. Theres also reading the letters on the keys, they font they used makes it hard to tell what key you’re hitting. On one hand, it’s help me memorize the keyboard better, but on the other hand, I noticed when I’m playing a game I’ll strafe to the left because both keys are being pressed.

It's nice overall but the buttons stop working after a few month. And their warranty is only for 30 days. For the price I'd expect a better warranty unless they know their quality is garbage.

so i got my g213 prodigy as well as a g502 and there was one flaw that i didnt like. sometimes when i pressed the keys it wouldnt register. still though, the keyboard is very good
Keys Stopped Typing Correctly

The night I got it, it was working completely fine. The next day, the T key started typing T twice or not at all. If you don't press it down directly in the center of the key, it won't type it. If you press down in the center, it types it twice. Basically, T, Y, R, G, V, and O are double or nothing. More keys are being added to this list every day. The lighting is nice, but it only has 5 zones to customize. I haven't been able to make use of the Game Mode key because of the malfunctioning keys. TL;DR: Don't buy this. it stopped working the day after I got it.

However, a couple issues mentioned in other reviews are definitely noteworthy. First, it squeals when colors are on. The brighter the color, the higher the squeal. As such, the default color-changing mode is intolerable, with its slowly pulsing screech. This DOES seem to be related to interference, likely from my cheap USB speaker/sub setup. Nonetheless, I would not have thought that buying a keyboard required any sort of checking to make sure the keyboard wouldn't scream like an angry cat. I don't actually care about the backlight, so I turned the light off and have it set to be very dim if I do turn it on periodically. Second, the caps/num/scroll/game-mode lock indicator lights are pointlessly bright. I did not even realize they had names under them until re-reading a review that mentioned it. It's like having a penlight staring you in the face for each one. I will be finding something to paint or cover those up to dim the brightness. Third, my own complaint - I wish that the F and J keys had slightly more pronounced bumps to indicate home row placement. But, I expect I'll adjust to that. Despite those complaints, this should work for my purposes - very light gaming and plenty of typing. It replaced a 12-year-old Saitek Eclipse that finally started to have a couple common keys seize up. The G213 is not particularly loud, there aren't a bunch of unnecessary keys added onto it, and everything is in its proper place. I hate typing on low-profile keyboards and mechanical is too loud for my tastes, so I was glad that Logitech still offers a non-mechanical full-height option.

Good look and feel. The flowing lights are a bonus. With Logitech software, the lights can be adjusted in any number of ways, especially if you're into gaming. The keyboard feel is it's best feature. The only drawback I see is that the white lights indicating "Number Lock", "Caps Lock", "Scroll Lock" and "Game Mode" are too bright and the words above them are hard to read. I made my own labels for them and put some white translucent tape over the lights which solves that. Overall, if you like the lit-up keyboard and the solid typing feel of a good keyboard, get this one.

The product box was clearly opened already and had scotch tape holding it shut. The keyboard did not function upon connecting it to to multiple PCs. Iam requesting an exchange I am hoping this is a faulty unit. Still confused why I was shipped what looks to be a used unit.

Purchased this item brand new - and the spacebar didn't function properly. It would work if you hit the space button dead center and pushed it like you would an old keyboard.. but usually my fingers sit off to the sides of the spacebar and I'm not changing that up anytime soon. 2 stars because the lights were nice and had some cool programmable options and functions. I also thought it would have been very comfortable with the integrated wrist rest area.

I bought this one when the SteelSeries of equal value was blinding. It puts too much light on the base under the keys and only some makes it through to the keytop. This unit seems to have a microphone built in or something. When the light is on, it squeals in cycles. Every 6 seconds it ramps up a squeal, lowers the squeal and is quiet for about a second and a half, then goes another round. Turning the light off kills the squeal but I bought a lighted keyboard because I'm usually typing in an otherwise dark room. I have no issues with keys not working as some report. I really love this keyboard and only wish I were deaf so the noise wouldn't bother me.

I bought this keyboard not for gaming but everyday work at the start of the pandemic. I have to say I am pleased with my purchase and have no mechanical complaints. My only complaint is that as I bought this keyboard for work my company's IT dept won't let me install the companion SW to allow for more control of the back lighting. If I didn't have to install secondary SW I would have given it 5stars. The colors are nice, and make it easy to type at night, but I would like the ability to dim them. Without the companion SW I only have the option of on/off. I like the feel of the keyboard for my work and find it responsive enough for daily use without issues. I have not had any of the dead keys or dead spots others have complained about. One thing to note, the color backlighting is uniform, not rainbow. I am not sure if the companion SW lets you change that or not. But without it the color just cycles through its various shades. My children still enjoy that months later.

This keyboard is not good the keys are very cheap so are the membrane switches if u want to get a keyboard for around this price point u should consider the Razer Ornata which is a couple dollars more or the Logitech G413 for $20 dollars more

Bought this about 2 week ago and 2 days later I've been having issues with the spacebar. Spacebar is unresponsive when i press on the left side of it. There are a few dead zone when pressing down. I haven't had an issue when I use for gaming but when I type the spacebar will either not work or it will sometimes double space. Have to mush down on the keys....

Software is okay, however as I noticed while in-game, for a key press to be registered, it must be FULLY down. If it's even slightly up then it will not register.

It is a good keyboard, I only wish it had come to me in New condition. I bought the keyboard in store but when I got it home it had obviously been used.
There was a gold star sticker stuck to the inside of the Spacebar. the WASD keys showed wear. and also i don't think it ships from Logitech with Crumbs.....
so product is solid, Target's execution of a return... not so much.....

Keys Unresponsive

So, I just bought the Logitech g213 and one of the keys is unresponsive. I've tried a plethora of methods to fix it, but it never changes. I see some comments that this is a problem concerning many g213's. However, I really enjoy the RGB setup and the customizability. So for now, until I find a way to fix the unresponsive key, it's a three star review.

I will preface this review by saying that I am NOT a PC gamer (unless you count the occasional game of solitaire or Candy Crush), so that is not what I purchased this keyboard for. I work from home doing medical and legal transcription, so I purchased it mainly for work purposes. I spend a good 10-12 hours per day typing, so I need a comfortable, ergonomically friendly keyboard with a good design. I am pretty rough on my keyboards, so I didn't want to spend a small fortune for a new one since I tend to replace them about once every 1-2 years. I saw this keyboard on display at Target and I immediately fell in love with its comfort, design, and ease of use. Logitech has been my #1 brand of choice for keyboards and mice for many years now. Their products have always been very reliable have never once let me down. When I first saw this keyboard, I fully expected it to be far more expensive than it actually was (I really thought that it would in the $80-100 range), so I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the $39.99 price tag and immediately grabbed one to take home. This keyboard allows me to keep up with my typing speed and it does not strain my wrists at all, which is always a concern of mine when shopping for a new keyboard. The last thing I need is carpal tunnel! It is the perfect size and I love how the keys light up in all different colors. It looks awesome on my desk and it can be very helpful for late night typing. Since I'm not a gamer, I cannot comment on its gaming performance, but for everyday use, this is a perfect keyboard at a great price. You definitely get some great features for the money (I love the media controls). I would definitely buy this keyboard again. In fact, I have just ordered one for my husband, who is a gamer. Overall, I am very happy with the Logitech G213 Prodigy. I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it!

Great keyboard, but broke after only 2 months of use. No longer connecting to my computer. Software not recognizing the connection. Might have gotten a faulty product. No way of returning it at the moment.

This is a great keyboard. I bought this for my computer and PS4. The software is confusing at first but then again, I didn’t do the tutorial. I wish they would add a PS4 software so that you could control the colors from there but that’s a little extra.
