LolaVie Sculpting Paste - 1.7oz - Ulta Beauty

My hair os about the length of JA in the photos on here and this sculpting paste has made my hair so tangly every time I've tried to use it. I follow the directions, only apply a little, let it set then brush it through and all day my hair tangles so much and is sticky to the touch. I got it with hopes it would tame the flyaways and hold my style when I curl my hair but instead of soft curls they're rough, not shiny, and hard to comb through. I have straight, fine hair so it might work better on thick wavy hair, or the tangles could even be worse. Sad because it actually does help to tame flyaways and frizz but I can't deal with the tangles. For slick back up dos it probably works great.

Absolutely love this product! I will not go without it never. It's perfect to slip back bonds.It's just amazing and the hold is amazing!

I have very fine hair and this does not weigh my hair down. Great dispenser as you don't have to dip your fingers in the product. Good smell too.

This stuff is not worth th e money. Makes your hair sticky and extremely dull. Do not recommend this product.

I love the other lolavie products I've used, so I really wanted to love this, but it's not great for fine hair. It's so unbelievably sticky that even when styling, my hair wants to stick to my fingers rather than to the rest of my hair, which kind of defeats the purpose. I've also used this the way Jen uses it in her promos - by mixing with the lightweight hair oil to tame flyaways - and tbh it doesn't really do anything except make chunks of my hair stick together... but not in a cute way. This product might be meant more for thicker hair, but the only thing it really does for me is tame the occasional flyaway in a ponytail, and even then, it doesn't do that job as well as hairspray. very meh on this one.

Sticky, don't do what I wanted. Grief a few times, but felt greasy.

I have thin long hair was hoping it would give texture not wilt hair so a acrunchie hairclip or other would stay in my hair It looks dirty instead Id not recommend it im going to return it waste of money unfortunately

this makes my hair "gummy" I was not expecting it to do that.

I have wavy medium fine hair. Worn recent layers I thought I'd try this for texture. It was too heavy with just a tiny bit and my hair looked dirty right off. If you have a spouse or son that has short hair and wants a bit is texture, then pass it on.

I have thin, fine hair and this is a perfect paste for me. I love that the scent is very light, that is often a concern with products for me. As with most styling products I recommend using a small amount and you can always add more if needed. Gives great body and definition.

This is a great paste- I am a paste junkie/ have a few favorites and this is becoming one of my top picks. No build up and it's hard for me to use too much. I have shaggy bob and this does wonders for increasing volume in combination with my favorite Davines texture spray!!

I can't decide if I like the product because.I cannot get past the musty basement scent. It does not dissipate and I smell it all day.

I have tried everything to get a bit of texture and hold in my hair without a spray, or a strong fragrance, or silicones, etc. My hair is long and fine but in great shape thanks to the other Lolavie products. This paste is amazing but I wouldn't suggest a nickel size to start with as they recommend. I only rubbed a very small amount between my palms and went straight for the roots on top and sides and lifted and finger combed towards the back. The volume was exactly what I was looking for and my hair stayed out of my face and in place for the rest of the day! It's a subtle but perfect finishing step, at least it is for me.

I was apprehensive since it was a "paste". Tried it because it advertised as lightweight and flexible hold. Yeah no. Perhaps it works for super thick hair

I have fine oily strawberry blonde hair that is short, and this is THE perfect prosuct for me. No oily/waxy residue. Perext finish (for me.) A little goes a very long way. I will be constantly repurchasing this! I sould say this is a medium+ hold. Huzzah!

My hair is thick and coarse and wavy. I got this as a sample and loved it right away. It is light and smells great. I also love that only a tiny amount is needed to tame my waves.

This product made my hair fall out the first time i used it. Do not recommend

And somebody that doesn't typically like using hair products except a lightweight hairspray, but I've been wanting to try something that wasn't a traditional spray wax or pomade and I've never found a hair paste that worked well enough for my hair whenever I wanted to wear it more curly. I've been a long time user of the manipulator and matte-stermind from Bedhead but I typically only get wavy hair or I end up styling my hair straight with those two products. A little go a long way with this formula, I typically apply half of a pump on damp or dry hair whenever I need to tame freeze and also enhance the curls in my hair. Smells exactly like all the other LOLAVIE products, which is a pleasant Lemon/Keylime scent and doesn't make my hair oily or limp either. I've even used it on a spoolie & brushed it through my brows and flyaways whenever I was in a hurry.
