So far the system is working great. I get notices when someone is in my barn or by my garage just as I want. I am not very tech so really have appreciated the support department as they walked me through some set up issues. The manual that comes with it could be more explicit for people like me.

Camera works great. . . . . when it works. I am constantly having to drag my ladder out to climb the 2 stories to hit the reset button on this thing because it stops working. Usually once every 2 weeks I have to do this for it to work again. All of my other cameras (4 other wireless Lorex) work flawlessly so it's something internal with this particular one that keeps malfunctioning and for the price it is unacceptable. It is not my network as others are further away and no issues. Firmware also up to date.

I like the camera and how it works, but one of my goal was to connect it to the cloud, but there is an issue it connecting it. Their cloud patform doesnlt detect my camera. The service from Lorex is trying to fix the issue, but never came back to me after I spent an hour with them on the phone. Also, some functions that I'm trying to activate in light parameters won't activate. Good product, far from perfect and improvement needed on the technicql service process.

Lorex cameras used to be top of the line, but now they are no longer at the top. Lorex needs to update their systems with more features and capabilities. Because they haven't upgraded their functionality, a $20 to $50 camera has way more capabilities and their setup is much easier and faster than Lorex. I purchased Lorex because of their high quality name but like I said their systems and capabilities are outdated and cheaper systems do way more things for less. Also My customer service experience was not very good and problems I had couldn't be solved because the agents trying to help are not well trained or are not trained and they are just reading a script to you, the same one that you have access to. I would steer clear of this expensive name brand and purchase a less branded name which could have the same quality or better with many more functions to customize your system the way you want it.

I was unable to share my second camera with my wife until we went back to the location two weeks later. The first camera was no problem. They both are shared now. I also didn't know that the camera connection was a usb but it works fine.

The camera gives a very sharp image and is awesome in low light. It covers a very wide angle and it was immediately picked up by the Lorex app that has our other two cameras on it. Because it is wired, we have mounted it inside the house. Works fine looking out over the yard.

Let's me feel at ease knowing that if someone(some ai) is able to let me know when someone is on the yard. It pings me to let me know a person and vehicle and I can even read the plates of vehicles that approach the yard.
It's just not worth my time.

I have the same problem with this one as the last one I purchased. It continually has to be reset for some reason. I'm well within the wifi connectivity requirements. I don't know why it does it. I've had this unit now for only a month and it has only worked half the time and I can't be bothered to reconnect every time it goes down.

Worked fine till a format upgrade around June 24. wireless connection got progressively worse. till Dec. I am not even able to connect to the hotspot much less connect my wi-fi router to the camera.
