I didn’t have any damaged parts, unlike other people. Also I think the people having issues with the bottom bars just didn’t read the instructions correctly, this nightstand was really easy to put together. Just be sure you have the bars in the correct places before you put everything together and you won’t have an issue. I took off a star because I tried plugging a few things into the nightstand, and the flap on the back of the desk wouldn’t go down all the way. I think making the space with the outlets an inch deeper would’ve been perfect.

Like so many others, both nightstands I ordered arrived with cracks around the corners from over-tightening during assembly. I was worried this would affect the stability of the table, but it doesn't at all. On my first try putting this together, I didn't pay attention to the up arrow sticker on one of the pieces. This sticker has to be pointing up toward where the drawer will go, otherwise the holes for the screws to attach it will be on the wrong side. There is no manufacturing error - you can even see in some reviewers' photos that this arrow is pointing sideways instead of up.

The table arrived defective. The holes were on the wrong side of the bar so it was not able to be assembled. The table is quite heavy and I had to lug it all the way back to the store. Do not recommend!

The back bar is not made correct and the holes for the screws are on the wrong side. See others have gotten it in this way too and how are they still shipping it out defective? Never experienced a build item come in wrong like this before and now I have to package back up and return. It’s a fine side table other than that. I have the desk version already and do love them, but this side table was a fail.

I'm echoing the same problems mentioned in mk's review "Opened the box to find that the wooden drawer portion was cracked. Part E in the iron bars is also incorrectly made! The holes to line up with the last screws into the drawer are on the wrong side of the bar!"
