The bed is not compatible with a queen mattress. The gaps are not only unsightly, but also a huge safety concern. The delivery and return process is much to complicated, as taget uses a 3rd party company.

The bed is pretty but the head board is just lamanent not real wood and the frame is too big for a queen mattress which is super annoying and my shins hate it already. I feel the quality and cost don’t meet up.

Sturdy bed but frame too big

I love the design and how sturdy the bed is but it definitely doesn't fit a queen-sized bed (too big). You can see the metal bars on both sides of my bed (see picture). I think it would fit a king-sized mattress and I wonder if my mattress would fit a full size... It shipped fast and was extremely heavy. However, buyer beware! The shipping company won't delivery to apartments above ground level and won't bring it up the stairs. Luckily i had an SUV that could temporarily store my bed until my partner came home because it's too heavy for one person to lift. That was extremely inconvenient.

Don’t mix with a Casper Mattress!

The bed sets up quick and looks very nice, however the frame does not fit standard queen size mattress. I expected to see the frame but shouldn’t see the metal slats! Also Target positions it with the Casper mattress and even pictured it with this mattress, however, the cross bars are spread too far apart to support this style mattress. Casper mattress needs to be 4 inches or less.

I really like this bed so far! It was fairly easy to put together and as other reviewers have said it is fairly low to the ground and may even be a little lowere than the product photos lead you to believe but it’s not anything horrible. I haven’t had any issues with the bed frame being unsturdy or creaking. I do stick thin foam pieces between the metal slats and the floorboard to prevent future squeaking but thats only because once you’ve built enough beds, you come to find the best way to hack them.

The quality of the design of this bed is horrible. It looks lovely in the photos but it is not stable, and definitely NOT worth the price. The posts beneath give little to no support, it squeaks and creaks at every movement.

If only my mattress fit

I really want to love this bed. The quality and look are incredible. A couple huge caveats keep me from recommending this bed frame, however. The company uses for delivery a company (EFW) that gave me two different delivery dates, and on the day it was delivered I was told it was not even out for delivery that day. Secondly, the frame is way too wide for a queen mattress. There's a spare 3-4 inches between the frame and my queen mattress. Unfortunately, now I will have to deal with this. I would return the item but the hassle of disassembling the bed frame and repackaging it, and then to have the same delivery company hassle with the pickup... I am choosing to keep it. Such a shame this hasn't worked out. The quality of the materials seem great for the price.
