Sin embargo, las ansias de poder de Gaueko le llevaron a tramar un plan para raptar al Sol y así instaurar de manera definitiva su reinado de las sombras. Presa de la ira, Mari dividió el mundo en dos y ya nada ni nadie pudo cruzar la frontera entre ambos.

Teo, Emma y Ada no se gustan nada, pero son primos, y las circunstancias han querido que pasen el verano juntos en el caserío navarro de su abuela. Cuando uno de ellos desaparece y los demás salen en su búsqueda, descubren un universo de brujos y dioses, de gigantes irascibles y bellas mujeres con garras de ave rapaz en el que el temible dios Gaueko ha impuesto la oscuridad. Un mundo en el que solo podrán salvarse de las tinieblas si permanecen unidos y descubren su propia magia.

The legend goes that in the Baztán Valley, the gods coexisted in brotherhood and the creatures of the day and night could live in harmony. But Gaueko, the terrible god of the night, started to torment the humans with his pack of wolves, and the goddess of the Earth, Mari, created the Moon and the Sun to protect them from the darkness. However, Gaueko's thirst for power led him to concoct a plan to capture the Sun and thus definitively establish his kingdom of shadows. Blinded with rage, Mari divided the world in two and now nothing and no one can cross the line between them.

Teo, Emma, and Ada don't like each other at all, but they are cousins, and circumstances have led them to spend the summer together in their grandmother's small village in Navarre. When one of them disappears and the others go searching, they discover a universe of wizards and gods, of irascible giants and beautiful women with raptor claws, in which the terrible god Gaueko has imposed darkness. A world in which they can only save themselves from the shadows if they stay united and discover their own magic.

Jara Santamaría nació en Zaragoza en 1990 y actualmente reside en Madrid. Es periodista de formación y trabaja en el ámbito de la comunicación. Su pasión por la literatura empezó cuando era muy pequeña, y en 2007 obtuvo el II Premio Jordi Sierra i Fabra para Jóvenes Escritores con la novela Te comerás el mundo. Londres después de ti, ganadora del Premio Literario "la Caixa" / Plataforma, es su segunda novela.
