Katy Tanis is a children's book author and illustrator, textile designer, and conservation advocate based in the U.S. She divides her time between California and New Jersey. Her debut author-illustrator project, Love in the Wild (Mudpuppy, 2021), celebrates diverse expressions of love in the animal kingdom through vibrant, inclusive illustrations and rhyming text.
