'll appreciate the 7-ply, 6 mm maple shell and 45-degree bearing edge which provide maximum resonance and sustain. Ludwig's proprietary RFST molding process bonds the shell's layers to increase stability and enhance the "Ludwig Sound." Premium features like 2.3 mm triple-flange hoops, cast brass keystone badges and 18-strand "vintage" steel snare wires deliver crisp articulation and projection. Play anything from rock to jazz to country—the classic maple snare drum covers every gig.
