LumaBase Solar-Powered Lantern with LED Candle - Silver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful latern. I love that it’s solar powered so I don’t have to worry about changing batteries. It has held up to weather including snow and rain. I love that the solar panel is discrete on the top of the lantern so it keeps a beautiful aesthetic look. The lighting at night is a soft glow and good for ambiance. It is very well made and quality too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this lantern from Influenster, however, didn’t really care for it. The outer part is more like aluminum than metal. When I tried turning it on it flickered and then died. I had to replace the battery. The candle flickers, however, it’s not very bright. As for water resistance, it worked, but again, it wasn’t very bright.

I have had problems getting mine to turn on. It is supposed to be weather proof, but I’m not sure if it being sprinkled on messed up the function.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this lantern in exchange for my honest review, but I’m really disappointed with it. I followed the directions exactly, leaving it in the sun for a full day and then turning it on at night. The result? Nothing happened for about 10 seconds, then the LED candle lit up for one second and then turned off. That was it. Thinking I had maybe missed a step, I let it sit in the sun for another full day. Again, nothing happened when I turned it on, then the candle lit up a few seconds later and then went out. Thinking it was a problem with the AA NiMH rechargeable battery in the bottom of the lantern, I swapped it out for a brand new non-rechargeable AA. Same result again: one second of candlelight and then nothing. It just doesn’t work. The fixture is made almost entirely of plastic. At a distance it looks fine, but there are imperfections that are clearly visible up close. For one thing, the solar panel on the top is crooked; it was either glued on quickly without any regard to fit or maybe the lantern itself has extra plastic on one side. The bottom of the lamp also has imperfections, shown in the pictures. The good news? The glass is actual glass, not plastic. I’m really disappointed with this. It retails for about 17 dollars, but it’s probably worth 17 cents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been liking this solar powered lantern. It feels not super heavy, but the materials seem durable and quality. It should hold up in the weather, as long as it's not super harsh. The light isn't super bright, but it will do. I give it a 4/5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This solar lamp is petty fancy! It looks nice, is built well, and can be hung up very easily. The solar panel is a good size, so it can catch light using its large surface area, and it gets decently bright. Very cool.

Not weather resistant. I have a lot of them and i end up replacing them constantly they stop working. They work about six months. Good for decorative purposes but i have to replace about seven at the moment that are not working.
