Lyndhurst Sofa - Threshold™

I’ve been a big fan of this couch. Setup was easy to do alone and the price makes this a pretty good value.

You can feel the frame of the couch on your back when seated, so I immediately had to replace the back cushion foam for thicker. After only a couple of weeks of use, this sofa became so unsturdy we had to bracket existing legs and add more legs. Because we loved the look and color, we put a lot into trying to make this work, but we finally ended up donating this and buying different sofa.

I liked the color tones and the price. I liked the size. However, upon building it the back unit did not connect. I’m a bit sad because I was very excited to get this.

I got this couch on sale and it was somewhat easy to put together, with 2 people it was done within an hour. Its comfortable to sit on, the cushions come off and can be easily fluffed. Not a great napping sofa but good to sit on. Its a great starter sofa for a new apartment.

With the shipping delays caused by COVID, I appreciated that this sofa arrived 8 DAYS after I ordered it. The box was a little beaten up but I was able to bring it into my apartment by myself. After opening the box, everything inside was safe and undamaged. Assembly took less than half an hour (by myself). Living in an apartment, I don’t have a ton of space but this fits perfectly in my living room. I’d highly recommend this sofa to anyone just starting out or not wanting to spend a fortune—it’s definitely nap worthy and comfortable.

So amazing sofa fits right in my living room really leightweight easy to move if I need to rerange my living room plus I love the color very comfortable to sit on it not really lounge couch to lay on just to sit other than that perfect couch for apartment

Threshold Lyndhurst 3-Seater velvet Sofa in blue is very beautiful and sturdy. Assembly is very easy as clear instructions are given. This sofa is comfortable for three adults. I have been using this sofa for more than a month and it's perfect. Overall I just loved this sofa.

Overall, this is a pretty decent couch. The pros- great sapphire blue color. It's intense but still dignified. It's a really nice pop of color in a room. The fabric, while perhaps more of a suede feel than what I think of as true velvet, is super soft. The size is also nice- can sit three, but isn't so huge as to overwhelm a room. It comes in a box and requires assembly, but I think it was the easiest furniture assembly I've ever done. There a couple steps where you really need to people, but it is all SUPER simple. Comfort-wise, it is comfortable but not deep and squishy, so depending on what you're looking for that could be good or bad. The only real con is that it doesn't feel like the sturdiest piece of furniture ever. Not that it feels like it's about to fall apart or anything, it just feels a bit lightweight. And I will also note that there is a warning on the box that says "for decorative use only. not for use by children" which is frankly a baffling thing to see on a piece of furniture. Despite this warning, I can say that my children have all successfully sat on it, along with various adults, and there are no signs of an issue. But I think it's worth being aware of that long-term, it may or may not be the most durable, based on the warning on the box (pic below). Overall, it's an attractive, well-sized couch, and I think is a nice addition to our living room. Note on pics below- in one that color looks more subdued than in real life, in the other it looks a bit brighter. True color is somewhere between.

Easy to assemble and a fun accent piece! For being a 3-seater, this sofa is not as long as I would have liked. It is light weight and easy to maneuver around our space for rearranging, but does not feel very substantial, especially in the middle seat. The fabric is very soft and is a rich shade of blue. Cushions Velcro in place which is a great feature!

Very easy to set up and put together. Instructions are included in the packaging and have pictures and detailed information. The setup of the couch roughly took me about 22 minutes and I did it alone so one person is able to do it. Legs are well built and screw in rather tightly. The cushions to the couch are actually vacuum sealed so they will inflate as soon as you break open the seal. The cushion covers are included and are rather easy to put on. The couch is very comfortable to sit on and feels very relaxing. Material on the couch is very soft to the touch but does generate heat unfortunately. Easy to clean if you get a spill on it and dries rather quickly.

We absolutely love this sofa!! We put it in our play room and it’s the perfect size and so comfy! The quality is very good and it was easy to put together, I did it myself in about 20 minutes. The packaging was nice, nothing was damaged and everything was covered individually. It’s very very soft and the back cushions are a down material so you sink into them. I love the wood accents on the legs making it a little more neutral and casual than a typical velvet couch. The blue is beautiful, it’s not a navy but not a cobalt either it’s a really nice muted color in between. We have already had a spill and it cleaned up easily with our favorite carpet cleaner. It’s easy for my kids to get on and off of but it’s not too low to the ground to make it uncomfortable for adults either. I can comfortably lounge on it and I am 5’11. I think it’s a great sofa especially for the price point.

Where do I even start? This couch is absolutely heavenly! It's fabric is super soft and easy to clean and the cushions and back padding are phenomenal. There is a lovely sheen to it's deep, vibrant navy fabric which I feel really elevates and adds depth to this piece, making it look and feel expensive. This piece would seat 3 individuals comfortably and is very easy to fall asleep on thanks to its fluffy, well stuffed back. It was very easy to assemble and took me less than 20 minutes from start to finish. Something I love about this couch is that the seat cushions are detachable and the covers can be taken off and washed. The velco used is VERY strong and I have not experienced any sliding of the cushions while in use. Additionally, because I have cats I was worried that this fabric would difficult to to de-fur! However, this couch is pure magic all I need to do is wipe it with my reusable lint roller and it is as good as new! I can't wait to complete the set and buy the matching sectional!

We are thoroughly satisfied with our couch! Considering the style, we intended on putting it in a bonus room, but it is now a perfect addition to our son's bedroom. The color is vibrant and can be placed with various schemes and patterns, the couch is comfortable and soft, and the assembly was quick and easy. One thing that surprised us- it is very springy/bouncy.

I love this couch! The blue velvety fabric is super soft and so comfortable to lay on. The bottom cushions are comfy able and bouncy. The back cushions are okay, I like that they Velcro in place but they are a tiny bit flat, but overall still comfortable. This was super easy to put together, I put it together by myself in under 30 minutes. I like that is has real wood legs. Mine did come with one imperfection in the back corner where the blue fabric wasn’t sewed well in the corner (but it was an easy fix- I just threw a quick stitch in it and good as new). Overall a great & comfortable couch in a fun color! A hit with my son too, he claims it should be moved to his room

The couch is a very nice and very comfortable to sit and the kids to relax on in their playroom. It was very easy to assemble and not hard instructions. Depending on the price of the couch I would definitely buy again and recommend to my family and friends. It's also very soft material to make it even more comfy.

Couch is nice looking and assembly is not too bad. Back of the couch is uncomfortable because I can feel the back wooden board through the cushion. Color is nice too but I really wish the back cushions were thicker. Value is reasonable but you can do better for the retail price.

I’ve been searching for sofa for almost a week and able to decide on this. It was comfortable, minimalist design, the fabric and zipper are good quality.

This is a great, comfortable couch! It comes in a large box that's well packed and protected. It took less than an hour to put together using just the Allen wrench provided, no special tools needed. The quality is nice, and it's not too heavy to move around. It's very comfortable to sit on and even sleep on. The cushions come vacuum sealed and will expand once you open the plastic package up. Be careful not to cut through the plastic to the cushion itself. There are covers for the cushions and you can machine wash and hang dry. The back cushions have hook and loop on them so they always stay in place. Overall I'm very happy with this couch and look forward to using it for years to come!
