[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially very excited to try the peanut butter M&Ms. I've been a fan of the original peanut M&Ms for as long as I can remember — they're my absolute favorite. I always bring them along on road trips or flights as my go-to snack. So when I heard about the peanut butter version, I was definitely intrigued. Unfortunately, when they arrived in the mail on a 100° day, they were completely melted and unappetizing. My husband suggested putting them in the freezer, which we did. I tried one while it was still warm, and I didn’t love the texture — I’m not a fan of soft candy in general. After freezing them, I gave them another shot, but I have to say, the original peanut M&Ms are still the clear winner for me. It’s not that the flavor of the peanut butter M&Ms is bad — it just doesn’t taste as real or satisfying as the regular peanuts do. I wasn’t able to take a photo because they were so melted, and after cooling in the freezer, they ended up oddly shaped and had a strange texture. All in all, I’ll be sticking with the classic peanut M&Ms.

This candy has Halloween colors of black and orange that are cute in a themed Halloween candy dish. I'd give this candy 5 stars if the peanut butter was more salty than being so sweet.

Aside from being delicious, and the perfect portion, they’re a good price, and can be handed out straight from the bag, or tucked into treat boxes, or opened and added to a bowl for a nice party treat! The only drawback I found was that I’ll have to go and buy some more since all 15 of my fun size packages seem to have done a trick and disappeared.
