these have worked out great. I have had for a year and a half and with kids and pets they are still hanging on. they work great for extra seating in a pinch for the kids, foot rests for couch or chairs and although much to my chagrin a toy for kids to flip and roll around and sometimes down stairs.

Didn’t like the style. It looked cheap and the proportions were odd.

So cute! Looks way more luxury and expensive than it is and really brought together our boho inspired living room. No assembly whatsoever! The rust color is true to the pictures and looks like the color and fabric will hold up well against 3 kids and 2 big dogs!

I actually love this stool, and have had it for 2 years… however, the price was always $100 for the last couple years, until around march 2025, it went to $120, and now in August it’s “$140, but discounted to $120!” Lies. Lies. Lies. Target is robbing from the consumer.

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to clarify something not mentioned in the product listing: this item is made from polyester and is NOT treated with fire retardants (as stated on the bottom label). This might be helpful for anyone looking to minimize exposure to toxic chemicals (such as fire retardants) while still wanting stylish furniture. The product arrived without any off-gassing or unpleasant odors. It feels sturdy to sit on, though I recommend adding adhesive weights or furniture sliders to the bottom to prevent tipping. The tipping isn’t due to the weight but rather the shape, which can make it slightly prone to imbalance—this isn’t a flaw in the product itself. Overall, it’s a great piece!

Love it! Cute and sturdy

I looked forever for an ottoman to go with a retro chair I recently bought. Kept coming back to this one, and I’m glad I did. There are cheaper versions out there, but I can guarantee they won’t be anywhere as nice as this one. I love the way it looks in my room, and it is a comfortable footrest. If you have bare floors, you’re going to want something to keep it from sliding, but on my area rug it’s perfect. Now I’m just praying the fabric holds up to my three kids climbing all over it!

It’s the perfect size. The mushroom shape makes it wide enough to set items on but it doesn’t take up a lot of room.

We’ve had this in our daughter’s room for six months now and it has held up great. It’s super sturdy and functional! She uses it to climb in and out of bed and I sit on it to read her bedtime stories. One of my favorite target purchases ever!

Loved this when I first bought it, but I’ve had it for months now and its broken. The top is partially disconnected from the bottom and I can’t see how to fix it since it came assembled.

I got the cream sherpa version of this stool and it far exceeded my expectations. It is large enough to use as a stool for guests on game night, a footstool that I can use to cross my legs on, and to add a nice decor to a space. It is easy to clean with a handheld vacuum and has stayed a nice cream color. The base is a dense firm material while the top is very squishy and nice to sit on. I am a larger individual and it is tall and wide enough to comfortably and stably sit on.
