Chain is Easily Broken 😭

I bought the chain for Christmas for my daughter - I was hoping it would be a necklace she would wear and keep well into her adulthood . . . and she loved it! She wore it to school once and somewhere, somehow the chain BROKE during the school day; and she didn't realize until it was long gone. Unfortunately, she only wore it a handful of times (less than five!) due to its delicacy . . . and she's not careless with her things. The kicker? She lost not only her lovely necklace, but also a 14k gold charm purchased on a trip. 😭I'm honestly heartbroken . . . I wanted to buy her an heirloom necklace and thought this one was just the ticket but realize I may have been better served buying a lesser quality necklace. Made by Mary, is there any way you can help me out? Replace? Refund?
