The motor burnt out on mine after 2 months. I had a previous version of the magic bullet and it had last me YEARS. I have so many cups for this brand but not sure I want to repurchase this model. Seems like a lot of people are having similar motor issues.

I purchased my magic bullet over a year ago. I had to move, but fortunately I was able to bring my nutrí bullet with me. My daughter liked using mine and she bought herself one. Rather than have two in the kitchen, I have been using hers. She threw it out because it stopped working. I brought mine out. It would not work. I almost threw it away... I have finally gotten it to work again. It seems after time [even with proper cleaning ] the mechanisms become stiff and don't depress in order to work. All in all, it's a good blender. I would recommend it to a friend but warn them of the stiffness after prolonged use.

I also made a yummy guacamole with this and it whipped it up beautifully and was well blended. I like that this doesn’t take a lot of counter space like other blenders do.

Our original magic bullet lasted over 10 years. It finally died after the drive motor burned out. The new replacement we just got (on sale) died after making 2 smoothies. The motor burned out. Returning it to get another one. Hopefully it was just a one off issue and not a problem with a whole batch run.
