Q: The advertisement here at Target says it's 1100 watts. Specs say 1000 watts. which is it? I need 1100 watts and I don't want to waste the gas to go get this and then return it if it's wrong so please

Q: Is there an inside light on during the cooking/warming process? My past Magic Chef microwave with the same model number had such a light. In a consumer comments, one person said there wasn't one.

I needed a new microwave to replace my older magic chef one and this one caught my eye, as I wanted a bigger one and another magic chef so that I could fit larger containers inside, such as a steamer for my veggies I have and it works perfectly. Love the dimensions inside. Yes, this one is much bigger and does take up some counter space, as I have a small kitchen, but where I have it sitting works out. Easy to use too and has a nice manual until you get used to how to use the functions. I am not disappointed. I love magic chef microwaves!

LED/CLOCK IS SO SMALL & DIM. Almost unreadable.
A great sized microwave, BUT the LED DISPLAY / Clock is VERY SMALL & DIM. It’s honestly close to unseen unless you’re right in front of it or the kitchen lights are turned off. The amount of space that could have been used for the LED display is lacking. So for example, if you’re used to having the microwave as a main clock for the kitchen, this unit isn’t for you. Also, if you’d like to know how long your wait time is, it’s almost unreadable unless you’re 1 foot from the machine. Additionally the light inside isn’t very bright either or the window of the door just isn’t large enough to see what you’re heating up. The oven bulb used is a cool white so it’s even more dark and even blueish. I really wanted to love this unit, as I’ve used a Magic Chef for the last 7+ years. Sadly I didn’t anticipate how important a bigger brighter LED screen/clock display was going to be in my daily usage.

Simple and Reliable Microwave for Everyday Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Magic Chef MCM1611W microwave complimentary from Magic Chef and Influenster, and I am very grateful for this opportunity. Pros: This microwave has 1100 watts of power, which makes heating and cooking food fast and easy. It saves me a lot of time, especially with three children to take care of. The 1.6 cubic feet size is very spacious. I can fit large dishes and bowls without any problem, which is perfect for my family meals. The digital controls are simple to understand and use. The white color looks clean and modern in my kitchen. It matches well with other appliances. Cons: while the spacious interior is great, the microwave is also large on the outside. If you have a small kitchen, it might take up a lot of counter space. The microwave is a bit noisy when running. It’s not too loud, but it’s noticeable. It is a bit heavy to move, so you might need help to place it on the counter. Overall, I am very happy with the Magic Chef MCM1611W microwave. It has been a great addition to my kitchen, and I appreciate the quality and performance. Thank you, Magic Chef and Influenster, for this wonderful product!
