  • A: Hi Fangsz. Thank you for reaching out to SoftSheen Carson regarding the Magic Shaving Powder. Here are the usage instructions: SENSITIVITY TEST : Before using Magic Powder Shave for the first time, the following test must be performed. Wait at least 36 hours after using a razor or depilatory product before doing this test. Mix a half of teaspoon of Magic Shave Powder with equal amount of water. Apply to a one inch section of the beard. Do not leave on for more than 5 minutes. Moisten if necessary. Rinse away Wait 36 hours before using a razor or depilatory Do not use after perspiring Do not wash face before use Do not use after prolonged exposure to the sun Do not use any after shave product containing alcohol

    Works... but be careful.

    Used for my underarms. The mixture never mixed and the powder stayed a powder. The product did work but I left it on a bit too long and had some discomfort.

    Would not recommend use on legs. IMO, not easier, faster, or more effective than shaving.

    Now I understand that this is meant for beards, not legs, so I am only writing to warn those who are planning on doing the same. I used it on my legs and followed the directions to a T and it gave me a mild chemical burn. The skin on my thighs is too sensitive for this product and I CERTAINLY cannot imagine using this on more sensitive areas (as others online have suggested...ouch). You that you are not "built different." You MUST do a small test patch AND wait 24 hours (I did a test patch, but didn't wait). On the positive side, I will say that it removed most of the hair on my legs, but it still doesn't give you the closest "shave." It looks relatively clean shaven, but I can still feel stubble, which is not what I wanted. Overall, between mixing it, applying it, and waiting for it to work, I can't see how this is easier, faster, or more effective than shaving. Of course I can't speak to how well it works on your face (as I do not have a beard), but if it irritates the skin on my calves, I would have to imagine it would do the same to my face. TLDR: Use only on your beard. Don't listen to TikTok.

    i really like this!! i feel like i saw super mixed reviews of people loving it or hating and i thought i’d give it a try. it’s smell isn’t THAT bad. like not great but not unbearable, at least to me. also i have extremely sensitive skin, plus eczema so i thought to try this and it honestly works super well! i haven’t showed any signs of irritation so far either. i would really recommend even if you’re on the fence it’s worth a shot

    Was initially impressed, But....

    Purchased the powder and when I used it I followed the instructions to the "letter". After thr application and removal I was impressed, since it was my first time using it. The results said it would last 4 days. Well, NOT TRUE. When I woke up the next day I noticed stubble. I also noticed after the second use (with the 48 hour waiting period) the product DIDN'T work. Then I noticed that I had MORE hair in the areas of use (full chin and lip) that there was MORE hair than before I started. I purchased the creme the other day and applied it to my problem areas. Lets see what these results will be. Otherwise I can see myself spending an astronomical amount of money for laser treatments.
