The magnet is strong enough to stay on a whiteboard! I don’t think it could hold anything more than a couple markers without sliding but it works great for some smaller paper pieces.

I love this! I use it on the side of my refrigerator to hold small individual drink mix packets. Holds about 15 packets in each side without sliding or falling off the fridge. I bought 3 more for other uses around the house.

The magnets weren't quite strong enough to use on the poles of my metal cart. they need a whole flat piece of metal to adequately stick. so I'm using it on the side of my microwave right now instead. A little disappointing that it's not strong enough for my original purpose, but it will stick well on a fridge, locker, etc.
