No concerns regarding writing scratching with use. Perfume starts initially quite heavy but lightens throughout the day. Perfect for weddings, evening events where you need a fragrance to last all day.

It is utterly delectable. I really am obsessed with it. This is one I would really push as a bridal scent, one that will pull through the memories through its stunning and unique scent. One spray is honestly enough. The scent holds so well that you can notice it throughout your day. I do like to top up, because it is enjoyable.

The packaging and bottle both look luxurious and this carries through to the scent. I love it, my husband loves it and I’ve also had plenty of compliments from friends. Sadly it was not long lasting on my skin which when you see how much it costs you expect it to. I liked how the sample came with a small candle too and this smelt lovely when close to the candle when it was burning.

But I was disappointed with Baccarat Rouge 540. It longetivity is great, just like its other perfumes. It’s strong and unique but the scent just doesn’t feel like sort of a fragrance. It feels like a room full of smokers and I’m passive smoking. Great if someone like that but it’s definitely not for me. I would have expected something better from this brand. This is not their standard.

The top notes are light florals with jasmine and white floral scents coming through, settling into white a deep scent of amber, wood and musk. This is a gorgeous scent that would be great for a date night or an evening or night event. I also received a lovely candle with the same fragrance which smells lovely and vibrant.
