A: "Overall" dimensions are exactly what you didn't ask for - and are in the blurb anyway! Looking at the photo that gives you a "plan-view" from above, you can pretty well estimate that the center section would measure about 1/3 of the 7" across, or ~2-1/3" : too bad it's just a

I’m so glad I found this organizer. I was looking for something to put on our playroom craft table to hold crayons, markers, etc. and this is perfect. The compartments are big enough to hold plenty of items and it spins with ease. I like that it is clear so you can easily find what you are looking for. My littles have enjoyed using it and now can easily put items back so it makes for easier clean up for me as well.
