Man of Steel (4K/UHD)(2013)

I am a huge Superman fan. I loved the 1978 Donner/Reeve Superman, and I wanted to like the Routh version in Superman Lives, but it was so bland. I went into this movie without reading any reviews or spoilers. My 1st reaction was that Henry Cavill really looked the part. I didn't think that anyone could top the J Williams soundtrack, but Hans Zimmer made me change my mind- and quick! Zack Snyder really does understand Superman. Whether he knew he was doing it or not, he got the Superman/Christ allegorical imagery perfectly. The scene in the church with Clark Kent asking his Pastor for advice was beautifully executed. It tells the story even if you turned the sound off. There are some Snyder detractors out there, and they are quite vile. Zack Snyder's DCEU was going to be a massive success (his DCEU did better than the beginning of the MCU when they started) but for some unknown reason, the idiots in charge at WB/Discovery were extremely dumb. Man of Steel was the start of what could have been the greatest series of movies in the Superhero series ever. MoS, BvS, WW, Auaman, and ZSJL were huge money makers and we have been robbed of the Justice League 2 & 3 and Man of Steel 2, the Ben Affleck Batman v Deathstroke movies. We, and Zack, deserve to see the SnyderVerse continue.

Great movie but the picture displayed does not match the movie I received. There is no digital copy of the movie like what is advertised.
