Marble Paper Towel Holder - Threshold™: Freestanding Off-White Kitchen Towel Holder, Wood & Marble, 13.25" Height

Wood spindle was split at the base and allowed the metal rod that threads in the base to wobble. I applied Titebond into the crack and around portion of the threaded rod that goes into the spindle and clamped it overnight. Now it is solid and works well.

Really pretty peice that looks super expensive!

It broke the first time I tried to unscrew the top to put the paper towel on it.

Beautiful item but arrived damaged. The wooden piece was split, unattached, and crooked. I would recommend purchasing in store, if possible. The marble bottom is heavy and appears to be high quality. Potentially a great item. As always, Target has the best customer service so receiving a refund was a breeze. Thank you, Target, for your unmatched customer service!

This towel holder is completely crooked. I don’t know how it got through quality control, let alone shipping. It was also shipped freely floating in a large box, but it wasn’t bent during shipping…it’s actually screwed crooked

I’m used to cheap paper towel holders that slide all over the counter and become mobile when you yank off a paper towel - not this one! The heavy marble base keeps her in one place, even when paper towels are pulled off!! And she’s a beauty! Worth every penny.

Happy with this paper towel holder! It’s very nice looking and solid. As someone else commented, I love that I can rip off paper towels with one hand quickly without it budging. It also sits up off the counter slightly due to the foam pads it has on the bottom, just enough to not sit in any water that gets splashed there and get gross. We use Target Brand make-a-size triple roll paper towels and they fit nicely on it and don’t unravel, even with it not having an extra little stick thingy to hold the loose end back. I actually love that it doesn’t have that…looks cleaner and nicer. The marble base is really pretty and heavy. Yes, you don’t see much when there is a full roll on it, but it’s a non-issue. Also totally appreciate that the marble is smooth with no decorative indents or grooves (not sure how to explain that)…my old holder gathered dust from the paper towels in the groove around the base and drove me nuts because it was hard to clean. This is sooo much better. The only thing that is somewhat bothering me is that the wooden rod comes loose every so often and it has to be twisted to tighten it back up. I may glue it at some point if it gets worse. All the good outweighs this though. All-in-all, solid choice and glad we have it. Sometimes small things can make a big difference. :)

Surprisingly nice! Bought it for our basement bar, but honestly might move it up to our kitchen. Great quality. Looks nicer than my c&b one. I never write reviews but I love this paper towel holder!

Like the aesthetic but the top piece didn’t hold the paper towels in place. It was just a decoration. I already have the one from Target without the decoration so I’ll just keep using the first one I purchased. This one is also extremely heavy because of the lovely marble. EXTREMELY
