The Kettle Weight Kit is excellent for circuit-training routines. It strengthens core and abdominal muscles, tones and defines muscles and helps in fat burning and weight loss. Kit includes one 5 lb., one 10 lb. and one 15 lb. kettle bell weight, each with large, comfortable handles. It features impact-resistant vinyl outer casing in 3 unique attractive colors.
They came a day early and tracking was spot on so this started great. They are exactly what they say but no, I did not weigh them. The handles are smooth and rounded and even my little hand can grip 2 comfortably. They are awesome and I'm so glad I bought them even if they are pastel loll but the price was right and I've been using them everyday
the product, although very pretty, is not ideal for swinging as the handles and the entire kettlebell is very slippery so it's very difficult to have a good grip. also, while the 5 pound kettlebell is a good size, it really is too light to swing. although the 15 pound kettlebell is the ideal weight to use when starting to swing the kettlebell, the size of the bell itself is just too large to swing between your legs and then even more difficult when raising and lifting above your head . i really wish i could return these as i don't really have a use for them but can't as i've already "opened the box and 'used' them by swinging it." if you want to be swinging the kettlebell instead of having a pretty looking weight, I recommend getting a normal kettlebell where the heavier weights are are more densely compacted in a smaller size (sorry, for the very non-technical description of this, I'm not sure how to better describe it.)
I ordered these weights for my wife. And she absolutely LOVES them. Even though I bought them for her, I want to use them too! But it makes me feel self-conscious, because it has "HERS" labeled on all of them. Hopefully, they will create heavier sizes as well?! But for right now, I've only seen the 5, 10, 15 pound sizes.
I already owned a 7lb kettle bell so when I received this pack I immediately picked up the 10lb to compare. The difference was almost negligible. I decided to weigh them on my bathroom scale. Low and behold, each kettle bell is 1lb less on the scale than the weight recorded on each item. It's not THAT big a deal and I'll still use them, I just think it's odd to be off weight.
