Q: Is the bottom bar towards the back able to be adjusted to fit a bench for bench press?

submitted byLook at the Pics - 5 years agoA: Hi Caroline - Thanks for your question! The Marcy Squat Rack Home Gym (SM-8117) does not have an adjustable back bottom bar. With that being said, a bench will fit inside the rack to allow for bench press. I hope this helps!

Q: are the bar catches (safety bars) exactly how they are in the pictures? no small bars or anything on the sides that may cause it to fall off?

A: Hi Isaias - Thanks for your question! The Marcy Squat Rack features adjustable safety and bar catches. These can be moved up and down along the front of the machine. The only feature on the side of the machine is the weight plate storage posts at the bottom. I hope this helps!
