Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch

One of the best Mario Kart games ever! I’ve played this game since 2018, and it’s one of the best switch games.

This is the best switch game ever. Every switch needs to have this game. It’s fun to play with friends or even alone. The gameplay is very fun and there are many variety of courses to play and different kart accessories to unlock through racing. The new gameplay and tracks are a fun and exciting change from Mario kart Wii, and racing with the joycons are so much better than tilt controls though tilt controls are still an option.

Stars are for the shopping experience. I'm sure the game is great, but I wouldn't know: It came from Target without a game card. Beware when ordering!

My favorite video game. Used to play all the time when this game first came out on Wii. Now when I purchased the Switch I had to have this game. Love it.

Very fun game! Easy for 5 year old to do. It looks very nice on the screen and so far no glitches of any kind.

Definitely will not be stopping here....the RSM representative not only didnt take the return but was rude. My son mistakenly bought my daughter Mario cart instead of Wii Sports. On the receipt it states final sale...only thing is it is NOT POSTED when buying off the shelf and he went to the self check out so was not notified it was final sale. So once he paid it became final sale. Will be following up with corporate.

I had a horrible experience at Target and with their customer service. I purchased a Nintendo Switch and two game cards (Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart) but decided to return them the next day. While they accepted the console, they refused to return the game cards, claiming they were non-refundable. At no point during the purchase was I informed of this policy. Now I’m out $120. To make matters worse, I called guest services to address the issue, and the representative hung up on me! That’s absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I expected better from Target, but it’s clear they don’t care about their customers or doing the right thing. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, and I encourage others to avoid Target as well.

always loved mario kart all these years so do my kids whole fam can play!

As a Wii U port, this game is mid to begin with, but is redeemed by the dlc released last year. However, this game is going to be hard to continue playing for adult and kids alike, online at least. The core game mechanic from 150cc on up is all about abusing drifting and animations, which coupled with online combat is very hard to pull off. It can be a but of a blood bath, and is okay at best fun wise. For kids not able to abuse drifting mechanics you'll unfortunately get wrecked probably. Sadly playing as your favorite character isn't a viable option in higher rankings. Their is a very thin line online between casual and competive imo, as each win places you with increasingly difficult players. It's doable but debatable how practical as the gameplay itself isn't fun. If it was actually racing then maybe, but it's just a drift abuse simulator in reality. Also on a side note, I really hate the jazz music in some of these tracks.

Mario cart is an absolute classic and is a must have if you own a nintendo switch. It's easy to spend hours with friends or family just having a really good time.

everyone loves mario kart. just make sure to check the box before leaving the store so you don’t go all the way home with no SD card. luckily i returned and got the last one

Amazing game for a family game night or just by yourself, works great no matter what the situation is

Needs more karts and characters

You pay to buy the game. Play it only to discover if you want the other 1/2 of courses and more characters, you have to pay another $25.

This game is such a fun family game! It really brings my family together and helps us enjoy one another while having fun at the same time!
