Made out of hard grey plastic. The best thing is that it made him smile. Plus he just needs the car's seat belt.

It doesn’t take up too much space, but it’s comfortable enough for them to sit in it for that extra boost! Definitely recommend!

It is really nice to have a backless booster that has a device to place the strap on a safe part of the body. Without the strap, some kids are left with a belt too high on their neck. The cup holder also slides into a little groove in the front of the car seat and could be lifted out relatively easy if a cup got stuck in it or it was bumped. If you are wanting a roomier booster seat this one is quite wide. Overall, I like this booster seats works well for me.
