Marvel Legends Series Storm X-Men Comics-Inspired Action Figure

I love Storm, and this figure doesn’t disappoint. The paint job is excellent but if the were really going for her outback look I wish we had another head sculpt with her 80’s hair.

If you are a fan of Storm, she is definitely a MUST! This Storm is in the pinless body mold that we got for the 97 Storm. Her head sculpt is the same one from the Retro card Storms but her skin tone is slightly lighter. The shoulders are sculpted on and the cape can come off for a more classic outback look. I have 3 of her (one to display with the cape in my Storm collection, one to display without the cape in my Outback display and one in box to replace either one if needed). She's worth every penny!

Though reused, I really love this head sculpt. I wish Hasbro would kill the debate and start including her with 2 head sculpts like they did for Jean Grey. One with Storm's Mohawk look and one with full hair. (Please repeat this opinion in other places if you agree. I don't care about "credit". I just want Hasbro to get the idea and I encourage more of you to include what you want to see from Hasbro as well!). Storm comes with 6, yes SIX hands, which really shouldn't be something to celebrate. But that was before tariffs forced the prices to go higher and now the newer waves are coming with less pack ins. For example, the new Rachel Grey Legends was originally shown to come with 6 hands as well. However, Hasbro removed 2 before the official release. I wouldn't be surprised not painting the boots on Jean was more of a cost'cutting decision than an oversight. But I digress.... Pick this one up if you don't have a Storm in your collection or if you're just a huge fan of Storm. She's a core character in the Marvel Universe and a must for any X display. Or even a Black Panther one since her and T'challa were married in the comics. Leave this one on the shelf if you have the previous release or if you are a stickler for the finer details. Solid 9/10 for me.

Hasbro and Target went the cheap route and reused an inaccurate hair/head sculpt from a previous figure. Storm had a particular hairstyle when she wore this costume, and this is not it. I would have gladly bought this figure if they had sculpted a new head with the correct hairstyle.

The packaging was not the best, but it was fast
