Niece did not find this book engaging or relevant (she is the age group of the character) and I could not get her to finish it. I thought it would be enjoyable because of her love for baking and feel good stories, but she expressed how this was forced, predictable, and felt too much like an adult who had forgotten what it was like to be a kid had written it.
