The tips were uneven, so I had to cut the brushes to avoid uneven streaks. Bristles kept falling out. I ended up throwing away 3 of them. Better to buy the Wagner painting set for $20.

Dreadful quality, even for a cheap product
I realize they’re “value” brushes so I didn’t expect much, but I think they’re still overpriced. I wouldn’t pay more than a dollar each for these. The bristles are stiff plastic and roughly chopped off at the ends so they’re pokey. They were also already shedding inside the package. I could see using these for something like applying glue, but not paint or any smooth finish. I would rather buy a 3-pack of economy brushes at a home improvement store for the same price. They’re WAY better.

Solid purchase.
The metal container is substantial and exactly what we were looking for. It doesn't give or bend and is nice and thick. Paint that dries to it is easily removed and the dots help distribute paint on the roller well. The paintbrush does lose bristles for the first half hour you're using it, but I think that is to be expected from all brands of brushes. Just be mindful that you'll have to pick them out of the paint occasionally. The handle and roller work nicely.
