THe feature(s) I enjoy the most is that there is minimal prep time and the temperture control aspect.

I love my Masterbuilt 30" Electric Smoker. Couple of years ago the burner went out on it and I looked at buying a replacement. I looked at several brands and pellet smokers but I thought none could compare to my current model. So I replaced the control panel with the burner. I would not trade this for any other make or model. Its my first and my favorite

I got online looked up what we needed, the cost of the parts was more than reasonable, shipping was efficient and it was so easy to replace the parts. My dad taught me don't throw it out if it can be fixed!

Lasted 3 years, 4 months, 3 days…CHEAP PRODUCT. Previously had purchased another more expensive digital Masterbuilt smoker(John Mcelmore edition as well) that lasted about 6 years-should have gone with another brand!

Doesn’t get above 200 and doesn’t generate smoke due to the low temperature. I had it gifted to me from the purchaser who deemed it worthless. I had to agreed. I took it to the dump as even free is too much to pay for this piece of garbage.

I bought this about 2 months ago…so much smoke comes out around the door and the temperature gauge doesn’t work

I hate that the Bluetooth feature no longer works with this smoker.

I had a master built smoker since 2022 that was gifted to me . It wasn’t getting hot so i bought another one. I had to get a heating element in Sept of 2023. We often use our smoker for chicken and uses the highest temperature. Now we’re having the same issue. We have to use a different brand for us to use it without burning it out.

This is my first ever smoker. I have had it for about 3 years now, and I use it as a aid to my grill that I normally smoke with that does not have a offset on it. This smoker basically is a outdoor oven with a box for wood chips to put some smoke flavor in your food. If you know how to cook in the oven, you can cook on this. The temp does not get higher than about 300- 350 on max and drops to a good 250 275 once food is added. But hey we smoking baby we here for low and slow. The paint does peel, but I didn't buy this for it stay pretty. I bought it smoke my food. Pros- tender juicy chicken, ribs, burger, pork chops etc. If you know how to BBQ you will produce greatness. Light weight, easy to assemble. Came with a cover. Cons- Cord gets hot sometimes (main concern), Small space overall and in between racks, easy build up of drippings, makes for difficult cleaning. smoke box small, so you have to manage the wood chips often to get deep smoke flavor and ring on those thick cuts of meat. All and all for my first smoker, Im satisfied for the price. If you learn the capabilities of your equipment you can produce tender juicy meat packed with flavor. Be patience and watch food closet to the heating element. You will be fine.

I have owned this unit for two years. I have used it about 15 times. The unit no longer turns on. I was never satisfied with the outcome of the food I smoked. Not recommended.

I bought this and the first time i used it the door warped and has to be lifted up to shut and the gauge showing the temperature is not working the temperature isn't working properly. Awesome taste tho.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased two of these units (one for me and one for a friend). Replacement parts are easy to get thru Masterbuilt. I added lava lock strips to door edges to minimize smoke departure. I use this unit weekly for family size cooks. Everything from chicken, beef, pork, salmon, veggies, even eggs. Gets the job done at a reasonable price. Element and analog dial should be replaced after about 52 uses on average for me. Body holds up well. I recommend buying a cover for it.

This smoker is built very well and seems like it will last a long time. But, if/when it can no longer be used, I will be buying another Masterbuilt product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my smoker for a couple of years, actually I am on my second electric smoker, and I have cooked pork, chicken, and beef in it. I love the ease of setting it and basically forgetting it, except to add wood, which is easily done from the outside so I don't have to open it and lose smoke or heat. I have complete control of the amount of smoke because I don't like things over smoked, and even one of my daughters prefers what I cook in the smoker over well known restaurants. Just this past week I smoked a turkey boneless turkey breast to make a copycat sandwich that another daughter had eaten in Nevada. I love the control that I have over the entire process of cooking on my electric smoker and I cannot thank you enough for creating such a product that is small enough for the average family to use and easy enough to where it isn't stressful.
