[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this is a pretty solidly constructed knife. It has a nice weight, and it feels good in the hand. I think where it fell short for me was that I personally own very expensive Japanese knives, and by comparison it does not come close competing. It's a good utility kitchen knife and I haven't tried sharpening it to see if it'll hold an edge but out of the box it's not terrible.

The blade is extremely sharp and cuts through foods with ease. And it fits great in your hand! I use this knife for cutting a wide variety of foods. I will definitely be looking into purchasing more knives from this company!

I had a cookout last night and it cut through fajitas very easily. The ergonomics on the knife were great and allowed me to grip the knife right. The balance of the knife was unparalleled. The precision was just right. It was pretty sharp and I enjoyed using the knife. Made me feel like a master chef!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife works great. I wasn’t expecting to like this knife given the price-point. My original plan was to use it with my camping gear. That said, I was extremely impressed with its quality and plan to work it into the rotation with my other (substantially more expensive) kitchen knives. The knife came sharp right out of the box. As you can see from the pictures, I had no problem cutting tomatoes. My only complaint is that the knife is a bit larger than I expected. It makes it a bit unwieldy only smaller cutting boards. That’s a me problem though.

But using this knife has almost makes preparing food enjoyable. The handle feels comfortable and fits my hand perfectly. The weight is nicely balanced so it does not fatigue or tire out my grip. The carbon steel blade is extremely sharp and seems to maintain the level of sharpness much better than my stainless steel knives. The knife cleanly slices through fruits & vegetables making chopping, mincing, and dicing seem less like a chore. My husband loves the knife for trimming meats before grilling. I think this versatile knife would be a great choice as a basic kitchen staple for any beginner or more skilled home cook. The only thing I could think of that would make the knife even better is an accompanying knife sheath. It does already come with a blade tip protector.
