About the Author
Maria Herbert-Liew is an illustrator and writer from London.
She has illustrated a number of books and projects including 'Collins First School Dictionary' and 'Very Intelligent Princess'.
Maria believes that anyone can draw, and in 2015 set up an online drawing collective 'Petsket Collective' encouraging people from all over the world to share daily sketches with each other.
In 2020 HarperCollins published her first written and illustrated book 'You Can Draw Brilliant Pictures'.
Maria now lives in Glasgow, Scotland with her husband, a variety of cacti, and plenty of books.
