Matter Compostable Disposable Cup - 3oz/48ct

I was searching for Dixie paper cups but these compostable cups came up instead. Sure, I'll try something new....although I was hesitant to get them after reading the poor reviews. When I received them, I wanted to test the problems other reviewers stated. Didn't want any issues later. I pulled each of the 48 cups apart to make sure they didn't stick together and they did not. I then poured scalding hot water in one cup and it did not disintegrate (even 15 minutes later). I need these for a children's Halloween party in a couple days and they are perfect for the kiddos. I would defnitely buy these again. Great value for money and better for the earth.

I’m usually not one to take to the review, but this one seems very warranted. The packaging is compostable, the cups are really high-quality, compostable and durable for a few times before tossing in the compost. We try to conserve where we can on disposable stuff, so I feel a lot less guilt using these. Highly recommended!

Disintegrated within a minute of pouring liquid in it

These cups stick together and are actually pretty difficult to pull apart. Not sure why target stopped carrying the small dixie cups, but I will not be repurchasing. More expensive too

I didn’t think they were great, didn’t hold liquid well Started to leak through pretty quickly, very disappointed. Didn’t want to use glass for an event but this just made a mess

These are perfect little cups for snack cups. I put an assortment of small carrot and celery sticks in for parties.

Severely overpriced. Why did target discontinue the large pack of plastic ones of the inexpensive Dixie bathroom cups?

Have to pry some of these apart--very tiny cup, just wanted disposable cup to store Oral B toothbrush head in between uses but the brushhead is bigger than this mini cup! Will not buy again. Where are the old school Dixie cups?!

They don't fit the cup dispenser. The cup brim flares out and is too wide for a 3oz cup dispenser and too narrow for a 5 oz cup dispenser. I guess it can be used for planting seedlings.

Works just as well as 'regular' paper cups in my opinion.

I noticed that the previous reviewer of this in the Target app speaks negatively of these cups for being packaged in plastic. I checked the back of the bag that I just received today, and the bag is actually home compostable 🌱

The world already had paper bathroom cups, which are probably compostable but probably went into plastic trash bags into a landfill. These are functionally the same, but they don't fit into bathroom cup dispensers. But you can feel better about the environment while you root around in the PLASTIC BAG they are packaged in every time you need a new cup.

I highly recommend everyone to buy these cups. Anything that is good for the Earth should be considered for purchase.

It is so great to have a compostable bathroom cup available. They are super-sturdy so do not have to be single-use. I had been using dixie cups but sometimes they leak at the seam in the bottom and start to soak up the water if used too many times.
