Maui Jim Hookipa Ultra Rimless Sunglasses

These glasses are great, they fit perfect, they are very stylish and as always, the polarization definitely protects your eyes from the glaring sun. Maui Jim, hands down are best sunglasses on the planet!

Fitment is perfect, optics is perfect, the frames; not as expected. When I think of Maui Jim, I want to believe in the highest quality products and optics. This purchase is just that. Optics and fit is spot on, but the quality of the frames could be better. The design of the frames are sleek and fitment is perfect, but the one of the hinges to this particular frames is already failing. One hinge snaps sharply into place when unfolded, but the other side has no positive locking or snap when unfolded. Other that just this small plastic problem, everything else is okay. Feels like the weaker side of the frame sldes off my face easier and doesn't grip above my ear as well as the other side.

Just as I wanted. Fit was great, great look, really light on my face.

They are loose on my face which I was surprised with the hinged temples. Would love me to know how to tighten them. Otherwise the look is basically the same as my last few Ho’okipa ones.

Great glasses. This is my 3rd Ho'ohana. Very comfortable and super clear vision.

These are the worst lenses to clean. I use a microfiber lens cleaner & its next to impossible to get the lenses clean.

Great shades! As with the many pairs of Maui Jims I have worn over the years these are comfortable, protect my eyes, provide great visibility. I like the green…not sure my wife has ever liked my style but to each their own…I am happy with this purchase. For context I prefer the lightweight non metallic frames with curved lens so sun doesn’t get my precious eyes from the sides. Wish I was able to wear these on the beach in Maui or hiking thru some lush growth on the side of Hana. Maybe someday.

I've owned probably over two dozen Maui Jim sunglasses and these by far are the best I've ever had. Like them so well, ordered another pair in another color. Awesome glasses for the money. Love them!

THE GLASSES ARE ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHT AND REALLY PROTECT MY EYES FROM THE BRIGHT SUN IN GEORGIA. I USE THEM FOR PLAYING TENNIS AND I DON'T EVEN NOTICE THEY ARE ON.

Great glasses. Very lightweight and fit great. When I'm not using them I can put them on my hat and they grip well and don't move.

Wasn't sure about the blue and how it might change the color of things but nothing is different. Great glasses.

I just replaced my original Maui Jim Ho'okipa sunglasses—yes, the same pair I’ve worn for the last 20 years—and I’m blown away by how far these glasses have come. The new version feels like a refined evolution of everything I loved about the original. The lenses are noticeably clearer—so much so that I didn’t realize how many tiny scratches and smudges had built up on my old pair until I put the new ones on. Colors pop more, details are sharper, and everything just looks crisper. Fit and comfort have also improved. The nose pads are larger and have more grip, which helps the glasses stay put during movement without sacrificing comfort. The ear grips now have textured padding on both sides, which wasn’t the case in my old pair. Even the hinge action is tighter and smoother—giving them a fresh, high-quality feel right out of the box. If you're holding on to an older pair thinking "they still work fine," do yourself a favor and try the new version. It's like going from a great pair of sunglasses to an exceptional one. The upgrade is real.

I own 6 pairs of Maui’s! I won’t own anything else. They are comfortable and stylish, but the clarity is unmatched!!
