The solid plywood surface offers a smoother, more reliable experience—ideal for storing irregularly shaped items. For example, equipment with small wheels, like a wet vac, can roll effortlessly across the plywood, unlike wire grids where casters can get caught. Using your own plywood also gives you the opportunity to customize the look of your garage. Imagine a beautifully stained oak veneer with a glossy polyurethane finish—it’s functional and stylish. This model is part of the Fleximounts Max Series, built for superior strength and performance. The steel frame has been upgraded from the Original Series, with thickness increased from 1.38 in. to 1.97 in. for added durability. The platform is supported around the perimeter of the rack, with additional internal braces to boost strength and stability. Multiple points across the frame allow you to securely fasten the plywood using wood screws.
