The basket texture is sturdy and not just light weight woven strips of wicker. But it doesn’t look like plastic. It will be easy to clean too. The packaging for shipping it sturdy and would hold up to any rough delivery journey. I’m very impressed.

My husband was able to install following the dirt pretty well I'd maybe add a tiny addition to the instructions on how to smoothly change the height of the pendant length because that was a sticky subject for him. I definitely am enjoying this addition to my area and the light can be set on a dimmer so it can be adjusted to your preference of light amount as well as see during the dinner time. Quality and style can't ask for more!

My husband wanted to use it in his new man cave in the basement. I won and we are using it in the enclosed outdoor patio. It gives off just the right amount of light and looks wonderful. The Maxim Bahama Pendant was just what I was looking for. I had the light professionally installed, as I don't do any electrical projects, and my electrician said it was an easy install. The one-light, LED pendant with a hemp rope shade, is made of high-quality materials and works with a variety of styles of decor. I also like the fact that it has a dimmable feature, which made it perfect for my dining room. I am very satisfied with my new lighting and hope to get many years of use from it.

Our son is an electrician so he installed it, his only installer concern was all the extra and cable, it was a little difficult to deal with. The light is perfect!
