I bought this light fixture to replace one of those new LED modular lights I had installed just over a year ago. The mod light was one big rip-off: it was supposed to last 10 years but it didn’t last much over one year, and cost me an electrician’s fee to wire it in. So I found this one. Once again I had to pay the electrician to wire it in; but since he installed this one I can go back to simply changing light bulbs instead of changing light fixtures! This is a quality fixture with a glass shade and a nice mechanism that allows for its easy removal to change the bulbs when needed. I’m very happy with it. No more modular junk for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is nice and surprisedly sleek for the size. The frame part was a little difficult but was able to manage. It being a bowl style fixture it wasn't as bright as our bulb that had open lighting however since it is so close to the ceiling it doesn't stand out like some other ceiling fixtures can so it compliments the area well.

My son broke the last light and this one looks so much better in its place! Not really hard to install, but I did have some help! Makes my hallway look fancy now, and I’m a happy camper with it! I highly recommend this light!!

Luckily I discovered the malanga flush mount maxim lighting. It was easy to install. The lighting unit was a 16 inch flush mount and took three 60 watt bulbs. If I had any questions about the installation process the lighting unit had a help call number that I could call at any time. The glass of the lighting unit is very pretty with a light frosting on the glass. The frosting on the glass gives off a very clean and modern appearance. After installing the lighting unit my bathroom looks bigger and much brighter. I highly recommend this lighting unit for decor needs.
