I really wanted to like this. This is a brand by black women and I am a black woman. If I could return an opened bottle of liquor, I would lol. Bitter, no sweetness to it. I will not be trying any other variety of the BGM wines after this first experience.

For two people who are overly sensitive to bitterness, my wife and I were wary of the few bad reviews claiming this BGM Red Blend was bitter. There is absolutely no hint of tannin or bitterness whatsoever. This wine is fantastic, moderately priced and is well worth not only a try but full consumption of every drop in the bottle. This wine stays in our collection and is our favorite red. Disregard the dead tastebud reviews. Fruity and smooth with a touch of oak, this novel blend is soon to become a classic.

Love this wine! I'm not big on sweet wines so this is perfect. Amazing with porterhouse steak and potatoes. I can't complain about the price either. I've spent more money on mediocre wines. 5 stars in my book.

Since trying this for the first time several months ago, I have had a bottle of this on hand at all times. I buy it in bulk and always, always return to it. The fact that it's Black owned may have been why I tried it, but it's not why I continue to purchase it. Definitely worth a try.

My new favorite red wine! It’s so flavorful smooth and delicious. Pairs well with red meats, chocolate desserts and I’m sure many other things to be had. Such a good find for the price!

So this wine has become a fast favorite at the moment, and I will probably be picking up a few more bottles in the future. I really hope Target keeps this on their shelves. This is a beautiful wine to be enjoyed with friends or alone. I heard about The Mcbride Sisters wine from a coworker a few months ago, and I was excited to see a bottle of their wine on the shelf at my local Target. For roughly $24 ( including tax), it's priced perfectly for the quality and worth every penny. So much so that my local Target is now out of stock!

I don't typically like blends but I love this wine! Full of flavor, incredibly balanced - this is a new go to wine for me.

This is the best red wine I've ever had. I bought 5 bottles--4 as gifts and 1 to try. Nobody is getting gifts until I find more bottles...it's so good!
