I was looking for a darker blue curtain with a pattern and these fit the bill. The problem is in the name - they are not room darkening whatsoever. Once you scroll further down in the description you'll see they are listed as light filtering! I bought these for my living room where I need room darkening panels and was so disappointed to see how much light shines through. Luckily, I was able to make a switch and use them in my kitchen where I needed light filtering panels which is why I gave a 5-star rating. I will keep an extra panel and cut it to make a valance for my kitchen window.
